Bugni Hardware & Feed

Terrible customer service! I called to inquire on pools they have available & the lady who answered was so terribly rude! She asked me what size I was looking for & I told her the smallest one as it would be for my dogs in this heat. She raised her voice, got snooty and said "we have 3 sizes available" and hung up on me! I called back & they wouldn't answer. Geez, I was just trying to make sure they had some available before I drove all the way over there!

Andrea is fabulous!!!!!! I love Bugni brothers. Andrea recommends the best dog food and care for my pets. She's so sweet and helpful. When there is help there they carry the food to my trunk. My girls love this place too, they enjoy seeing the animals here. A bonus is they are open Sunday's.

Just went in today and the store was absolutely gross and the cashier lady was rude. Don't recommend going here at all. The place stunk the baby chicks water was green. DONT BUY YOUR CHICKS HERE. Will be returning to tractor supply or round up.

I love the location of Bugni Brothers to my home and the lady that works/owns the place is really nice and helpful, though they don't quite have the stock of items I personally would like to see in a feed store and some of the stuff is a bit unorganized and really dusty (some stuff has been there for quite awhile you can tell, and a whole corner is wasted on old greeting cards for some reason). The store seems more geared towards the Hardware part than the "feed" part. The prices are a little higher (but not by much) than the bigger chain stores in town but I still prefer going there than the others. Really they just need to put some work in dusting and re-organizing the items so they make more sense. They have more shelves stocked with piping and random items for fixing or building stuff than they do feed or tack which is kind of a downfall to me.

After losing two hens to our neighbors dog, I was so sad, so my hubby searched everywhere for new baby chicks.Then we met Andrea, she is so amazing, knowledgeable and kind.We bought 12 baby chicks from her, the chicks are healthy and so full of life.We would absolutely recommend family and friends to visit her for all your needs. Andrea and her family are some of the nicest people around! Knowledgeable, hardworking and genuine. This is not a big box store, you're supporting a local business so don't expect big name store prices, but you can expect the best help and loads of great wisdom I grew up in Bakersfield and have been going there still when I do come through town to get my feed when I can.

I really like this store for a few reasons, owner is very nice, and knowledgeable on all questions we've had in getting us started raising chickens. She's also from what I see a very hard worker, she lifts heavy dog food bags, straw, you name it and makes it look easy, yet always comes out of it smiling and greeting every customer as a guest! And she also seems to supply anything you can think of, so I THANK YOU!

I wouldn't recommend going to this place at all! I arrived, she was attending someone else once done, she completely changed her attitude towards me. Like she didn't want me in there. She doesn't have patience, she's so arrogant. Besides that the place is so dirty and stinky! When I asked her questions it looked like it bothers her. I live by hosking so it's closer but I'm not going there anymore. Now I go to Roundup on rosedale or tractor supply, way better!!!!

Called location at 240 on Sunday to confirm they had what I needed. Jumped in my truck and drove directly there. Arrived at 3:10. Location open till 4 no problem right? WRONG. They were locked up tight and gone. Thanks for wasting my time. Now I may not have time to go elsewhere.
