Bucky’s Hot Chicken

High Quality chicken, fries got the best seasoning, Brioche buns are always on point, coleslaw is the best (was not a fan of coleslaw before) Bucky's sauce is top tier, the ranch is amazing, last but not least amazing staff! Appreciate y'all!

Food was great!! I loved their mild chicken, I'm surprised the medium was a bit too hot for me! lol! Because we ordered at a food truck it's hard to say how clean it was, but seems clean enough I'm willing to eat there.

If you've read any of my previous reviews you know I love hot chicken. I was looking for a new lunch spot a few days ago and came across Bucky's sounded like a bit of a local hidden gem so I had to go try it out. I went straight for the sandwich with a side of fries. I went for medium to test out the heat and it was very tasty. It had just enough heat to make me taste it but not overwhelm me. I could go up another level and be fine but I did really enjoy the flavor. The chicken was cooked very well, the sauce on the sandwich is tasty and the fries were nice and crispy. It takes a few minutes for an order which leads me to believe he's cooking to order and I'm all for that. Nice hot, fresh made to order food is worth the wait. It's really reasonably priced for what you get as well, I know I'll be visiting again in the future and recommend all spicy chicken loves come give it a try.

I would give zero stars if I could. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst experiences I've ever had. We paid for extra sauce and only got one--seriously? To make things worse, the Buckwild Fries were so salty they were practically inedible. Absolutely terrible. I highly recommend avoiding this place altogether.

Pretty solid hot chicken place but could be better. Hot is not hot at all, compare d to other places it's more medium if anything. I will try x hot next time see if it's better. Secondly the chicken didn't have that much flavor but thankfully the slaw and sauce lift it up. Fries are excellent though, the seasoning on them is really nice. I'll probably also try the chicken and fries next time. Service was reasonable and the employee was nice. Overall this place is about a 4.1/5

One of the best places to go for good food in downtown Bakersfield by a long shot. Heard about this place through a friend and decided to try it one Friday. The fries were amazing! Definitely will go again!

Delicious chicken sandwiches can't go wrong with any option. Try to start off with a lower spice level when picking your sandwich.

food was amazing as i went to order sunday with my wife we were met with a passionate employee as always usually the same 2 or 3 guys but i hadnt seen this young man before nonetheless the service was above the bar thats been set by food trucks tbh. always a good conversation with the owner or the other guys who work there. the food came out pretty later than what i was expecting but when you want great you dont rush it bro. only issue id have if i had to pick something to knitpick is how hard it is to find when i send my wife or daughter but thats about it. tried out their crinkle cut fries they had on limited edition... might be the way to go. keep it up boys

Bucks hot chicken sandwich is the Best I've had in Bakersfield. It's got just the right amount of kick and the flavors are wonderful! If you haven't already tried one, I'd highly recommend you do! Delicious!!

Food is good but isn't worth the bad service. Waited almost 30 mins for 2 orders of 2 tenders and paid $1 for 2 extra sauces. Our order was missing the 2 extra sauces so I went up to the guy with long brown hair and a beard who took our order to ask for them. Didn't expect to have to argue with him that I already paid for sauces but didn't receive them, but he eventually gave them to me like he was doing me a huge favor. Thanks. Won't be coming back unless I'm bored and want to feel like a thief.
