Bucko's Jolly Kone Drive In

Happened to be on this side of town for a work meeting. Stopped by and ordered a plain salad and bean burrito. This is a large salad with all the toppings! So fresh and delicious! I was impressed. Definitely order ahead a time if possible.

Unfortunately, my son and his friend got food poisoning on Saturday from Buck'o. Both kids ordered double cheese burgers, fries, and peanut butter shake. They were both throwing-up Saturday night all night. Slept the entire day on Sunday. Went to the doctor today (Monday) and the doctor said it was food poisoning, most likely it was from the shake (milk). The burger was ruled out because there was no symptom from E. coli.

This place is AWESOME!!!!! The burgers are juicy and tasty and the people are super, super nice. I don't recall but I think the price of a burger was under three bucks. I got two. I don't live in Bakersfield, but this place is a freaking treasure.

I have eaten here several times. I always try something different just to see how good the food is, I tried a regular hamburger, Avocado Burger, deep fried burritos and here lately a double burger and onion rings. The food is good. I like places like this sometimes it's bad sometimes it's good. This time it's good and the menu is small that's great.

When I'm craving a cherry Pepsi or a REAL vanilla coke this where I go. None of that drive thru crap this place is the real deal! Classic and greasy American grub and cheap too. You can't go wrong with anything you order here. The burgers are great and the shakes are the best!! I know the area is a little.. Meh. But please... Give this place a shot!I've been eating more and more at Buckos lately and can't believe I haven't reviewed. Haven't even had time to take a picture because it is so good it's gone by the time I think of it. Buckos Jolly Cone, 4stars!!

I love this place, I only live like a block away from it so I have gone here quite a bit. I have never had a bad experience here. The owner and staff are always friendly and welcoming. You get a lot more for your money here than any other burger joint especially with the portions sizes.

I'm a single mother & have had everything you think of go wrong for me today... took an uber to my sons dr appt & we were dropped off at the wrong location... walked to where we needed (15mins away) & then realized we had a hour 20 min wait.... we walked down the street to get a refreshment & I RELAIZED I FORGOT MY WALLET.. so embarrassed & trying to not go into a panic attack we started to walk off & wegot called back to the window. They gave my son & I a free large water & 2 ice creams. We were very appreciative & grateful for it helped turn our crummy day around. thank you & once we can we'll be going back!

I love this place! The burgers remind me of when I was a kid! New owners are pretty nice too!

I have always loved Buckos... And the new teriyaki bowls are the best... Great customer service the husband and wife and staff are so sweet all of the time... Their son was awesome to... The prices are also really reasonable... Seasoned crinkle fries and a crushed ice pepsi... Yummy!!
