Brookside marketplace

Weird hours, close at 1:30 and expensive! food is decent! Not the friendliest place but it's close to work so it's convenient.

I decided to drive to Brookside Deli for lunch (11 minutes from my work place) I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap, instead of receiving a CC wrap, I received brown romaine crap. It was not edible at all! I tried removing just the really, really bad brown pieces but it left me with no lettuce in my wrap. I called when I had 13 minutes left of my hour break to request a refund & the man that I spoke to said if I didn't bring back the food, no refund. I told him I had already thrown it away because it was not edible. He again said- no food, no refund. So I not only wasted my lunch time driving to get crappy lettuce, I had to get the wrap from the trash and waste more time driving back to get a refund. Why is it that when places screw up, we get screwed! Will not leave here without checking my food quality next time. Check yours as well! Such an inconvenience when this wasn't even my fault!
