I find the lakes in this area so beautiful. There is something about how few people and few cabins or structures at all or any one in boats on the water so beautifully creepy. It always seems so eerily peaceful when I would drive by these places. Although the falls are not something you can drive by. If you follow directions easily found online and can do a basic hike you will be fine. I can see how someone might miss it thoughm . As with the near by lakes there wasn't anyone around almost all times ive gobe here. . The falls are a nice place to go to get a peaceful moment when I've been stressed. It's nice. If the bottles and debris is that upsetting to you, come with tools and clean up the area before you just complain and trash it as though it charged you an admission. You may think it's not your job although you are not a a professional reviewer either, you seem to be willing to complain about things without getting paid. Clean up the area and you can brag how you made it nicer, may not stay that way, but you improved something for only someone else's benefit, instead of complaining how nature had trash around and point fingers. Maybe you could work to get some funding to pay for regular clean up. Let me guess, you would rather complain and have others feel as negative as you. Try putting beauty back into the world instead of pointing at the bad stuff, understand that it shouldn't be that way, yet you just let it stay In. That way

We have come to see Bouquet Falls quite a few times in the last two years. Unfortunately, it is getting worse and worse. It is getting filled with trash and graffiti. Many people that come to visit are very irresponsible and do not care about the land. Just recently we came and a group of young adults had barricaded the parking lot with branches and logs so others would think it was closed. We parked a little further out and hiked in the short easy hike to the falls to find them picnicking, drinking and hanging out inside the falls. As soon as we arrived they all left. The falls need major trash pick up. We will do our part and keep it clean for others to enjoy but as for others they need to do the same or this beautiful place will disappear.

This is a very easy hike; more of an intermediate walk. It's an out and back trail (about 4 miles total) moderately trafficed. Getting there is a bit tricky (passed the entrance at least three times). There is no trail head visible from the road and the GPS took us about 100 yards East of the actual trail head (we just used the directions posted on the Google search result). There is a green cabin to the West of the entrance and the entrance looks like a long, paved driveway. At the end of the driveway there will be a white gate and past that there will be a roundabout area and past that is the trail head. There is quite a bit of trash and a some poison oak. People said that there was a buncmih of graffiti all over, but it's mostly by the falls and I honestly didn't mind it (didn't see anything profane). The falls are small but pretty and there are other trails to follow. You could easily trek this in some loose jeans and sneakers.Overall 10/10.

These are pretty falls and an unexpected treat off the highway. There's no signs alerting drivers when you're approaching the waterfall. You can sometimes gage that you're nearby from all the cars parked right along the shoulder of the road. Be careful trying to walk down to the falls from the road; it's very slippery with the soil and it's steep. The damn graffiti over many boulders may ruin your view, but if you can look past this tragedy, it'd be worth your while to check this out. When I visited Memorial Day, 2020 the falls were pretty tall and gushing with much water.

Bouquet Canyon hasn't always had a flowery name; in the past it has been called Hangman's Canyon and Dead Man's Canyon. The road is named after a French sailor who was nicknamed, "El Buque," which is Spanish for "The Ship." In the 1840s he established a ranch that he named, "Rancho del Buque" and since then the misinterpreted version of his nickname just stuck. Bouquet Canyon runs north and south from Santa Clarita to the AV. Traveling north from Santa Clarita, after you pass Texas Canyon Fire Station, the first site you'll see, off to the right, is Los Cantiles Day Use Area. It features a large empty fishing pond and a gazebo. There's a small bridge that takes you to the rear of the site where you can do some hiking. A little further down the road, off to the left, is another unnamed abandoned campground where the earth has begun to reclaim the land. The most prominent structure is a rundown old outhouse. In the distance you can see an Indian cave high up on the hillside. Continuing up the road is another bowl-shaped campground off to the right. It features a harrowing, cliff-side, switchback trail and a spooky abandoned shack. Further down the road you can catch glimpses of more campsites off to the left. The icing on the cake is Bouquet Falls. It may take some searching since some of the sites are a little hidden but in the end that's half the fun.

Location: The trail head was difficult to find at first but is located between firemarkers 10.1 - 9.8. There is a dirt road that goes down to a dirt parking lot that is meant for the people that live or rent the cabins. I forgot to get one of the cabin's address for an easier find to the trail. Once you drive down the lot, there is a paved parking lot that has 4 parking spaces and is right next to the trailhead with a white gate/fence. Adventure pass is not needed for the Bouquet Crossing, but I always like to have one just in case. The Hike:It's a very very short hike that goes along side of the road, so if you can't find the actual trailhead, then you might stumble upon the actual falls itself! Other reviews were right in that the falls could be heard from the streets (or at least from where I parked). Verdict:Suuuper easy hike and short hike. Lots and lots of poison oak so please be careful. No sign of rattlesnakes, but may be in the area. Beautiful and relaxing place to have a picnic by a waterfall. Also, lots of graffiti and trash which makes the area look bad and why I gave it a 4 star.

I was so surprised to see running water, this place is quite a little treasure. It's sad to see so much trash and SO MUCH shattered glass literally everywhere. Picked up as much trash as I could. Also a ton of graffiti. If none of that was around, it would be a really cool 5 star spot, but of course irresponsible people kill the vibe a bit.

Not a clear trail at all. The falls are cool but everything else took away from it. Graffiti trash bugs and tons of poison oak like every one says. 15ish minutes to get to the falls and another 20 minutes spent walking around the area. Unless you're just looking for a place to go be a hood rat and get high wouldn't recommend and would never go again.

It was a little challenging to find the actual falls, but a few miles before you get to the Bouquet Canyon Reservoir, you will see Oak Trees and can hear the falls. I read somewhere that there is a sign that says, "the falls" but we didn't see one. There is parking in the canyon and you will be able to hear the water if you are in the right spot. There is a bit of a hike on boulders to get to the falls. Nothing too difficult, but do watch out for poison oak...there is a ton of it around. Unfortunately, there is also a ton of trash and tagging. Otherwise, it's just breathtaking and so exciting to have something so cool so close by.It is definitely worth checking out!

We didn't find the place. We cannot find the entrance We drove 4 times back and forth looking for the place We end up in private residential place I would love to see the placeHopefully we can find the place and want to go back and bring the rest of the family. I hope someone post the direction and the front area where you can go. Since there where no signal no Wi-Fi at the area. It would be helpful it some post the accurate directions So if other people wants to go they won't be lost like us. I just wish some post the picture of the exact entrance from the street view. We got scared when we end up in some residential area. I thought we might get shot ..lol
