Botany's Desire Boutique, Apothecary & Spa

The boutique is filled with gourmet items and eco friendly sourced clothing. It has a large variety of specialty teas and confections. I love the assortment of teas and chocolates and all the books and mind body products found in the shop. Definitely check it out! You won't be disappointed!

If there was a no star review or a negative five stars review, that's what I'd be giving. After reading down the line of reviews, I wish that I had seen these before we sent product to this business in good faith. Sandra ordered pasta from us in April of 2020. We're a small business, just as the other people who wrote the same thing....Sandra doesn't pay for her products. We were patient considering there was a pandemic going on, but months and months went by. She finally responded at Christmas, saying she was going to "send a check on Monday". Should have known that wasn't going to happen. Even worse, my mom passed away, and I even gave Sandra a little more grace time because I was trying to catch up from being on bereavement time off, but she still didn't pay. Here we are, 16 months later, and no payment. If you are a small business, DO NOT send products to this woman. You won't get paid.

I love this shop! It's full of unique boutique-independent level designs from clothing, homewares, jewelry, cosmetics, to yummy coffee & tea treats. An amazing place to find the most unique gifts in town. Also, really great if you want to find something cute to wear last-minute that isn't marshall's or wal-mart (ugh). Just because we live in the middle of nowhere doesn't mean your closet has to look like a barren waste-land. Always super friendly and they were having a sale this weekend in case you need a last-minute Mother's Day gift. My favorite shop in town!

Such an amazing hidden treasure in Ridgecrest! The clothes are absolutely amazing, so many great gift ideas, and the Chocolate and teas are the best!

We are a small business out of Nashville. Sandra ordered products from us and never paid. We've made several attempts to get paid, but get no response. Just want others to be aware.

Love this shop! Always a wonderful shopping experience. When you first walk in the door you are immediately taken to another place with the wonderful scents and ambiance (you almost forget you are in the desert). The perfect place to find that unique gift or to pamper yourself. The store is always stocked with wonderful teas, chocolate, luxurious clothing, soaps, oils, jewelry, and more. The store has an environmentally conscious theme so a lot of the items you will find are either organic or produced on a small scale by skilled artisans. They do a great job adding new inventory each season so check back often!

NEVER PAID. Like the other two reviewers who gave this one star, we are also a small business that was never paid. Sandra ordered tea from us and never paid (it has been nearly six months). We tried calling, leaving e-mails and get no response. What is worse, is that we are a company that gives 100% of our profits to pay for orphan education. So not only is she stiffing us, she is threatening an entire system that is based upon goodwill. Her lack of payment and response is unconscionable. Like the other two small businesses who were never paid, we are writing this so others are aware.

I am a small food business owner in Maine. My husband and I sold product to Sandra at Botany's Desire in February of 2013 and we were never paid. Our attempts to get in touch with anyone at the store have been dodged- for over a year. It's shameful that a fellow small business owner would treat another company in this way. I support small, local businesses and I believe in showing that support with my wallet. It's sad that this woman has not supported other businesses in kind. I also know that if she stiffed us, she has stiffed others. I just wanted the public to be aware of Botany's Desire's business practices. I am beyond hope of receiving payment from this store.
