This a dive bar so if your not into dive bars you've been warned. This is also an old school style with low ceilings and dark interior and they open at 6 am on the weekends. The bar is attached to Zingo's cafe and you get food in the bar if you chose. It is a cash only bar but there is an ATM if you need cash. I frequent several cash only bars and this is not an issue if you know it going in. There area several signs on the entrance warning its a cash bar.Jessica the bartender was friendly and attentive during my visit. This is a locals vibe but everyone was friendly. I even laughed watching a little dog sitting in a bar stool next to his owner. There are several TV's, pool table, and dart board for your entertainment. This is a casual dive bar with no pretentious people in it.

Perfect dive bar! No windows, no gimmicks, and strong drinks are all that's needed. Bonus star for the cool bartender and her generous pours of liquor.

Faded bar tender, but she's alright, other then getting my order wrong two times. All the people in their worked at the restaurant attached and were faded, but informative. Some big Indian guy made a comment on me playing hip hop, (I guess they prefer country/ old timer tunes). Everyone in there was over 50 years old except baR tender, but they were ok..

Ok..if you are looking for a" non-commercial" local bar then this is your place! I love the family atmosphere here, and by that I mean, that if you come in more than once they remember you by name and act happy to see you back. There are some negative reviews about this bar but I do not agree at all. We were in town on a job and were shown such hospitality... I love coming here! The owner Kristy is so awesome and her bartenders like Kathy,Britain and Jennifer are great! The bathrooms are extra clean, the pool table is only 50 cents and the beer is cold! This is my new fave in Cali!! The best little dive here!

It must have taken me close to ten years to figure out the name of this bar. Back in the day, when visiting Zingo's at 3am to close out the usually interesting night, it'd be a subject of much discussion. The conversation usually went like this:"Is that a bar? What's it called?""I dunno? The Zingo's Bar?""Should we ask a waitress?""Feh. Why bother?"And so it went for many years. Leaving Zingo's, I never bothered to turn around and figure out what the hell the place was called. So, a few years ago, I made it a goal to go into this bar, so that at least I could cut off any future conversation about it.The first time I visited, I went by myself. I ordered a few drinks and sat at a booth away from the bar, just taking in the ambiance and the sideways looks of the bartender. From that visit and a few other amusing visits with friends later, I discovered the allure of The Boss. This is where truckers go to pick up ladies who like truckers. What do you call ladies who like truckers? Trucker groupies?Anyway, this is a good place to witness the bizarre foreplay rituals of truckers and the ladies who love them. Throw a little nameless '70s rock on the jukebox and watch the mullet-ed men of interstate travel go to work.

Wow, what a suprise this place was. I went in to Zingo's next door looking for dinner and a cold beer. I thought the waitress was joking when she said that we could take our food through what looked to be a broom closet door and eat in the bar next door so long as we didn't bring any alcohol into ZIngo's. Upon opening the door I found a short hallway protected by a sign reading "You must be over 21 to enter the bar" and decorated with a bunch of plastic Dale Jr Budwiser flags and a stock car hood. This opened to a dimly lit bar with a pool table, several stools and a middle aged bartender who was relying a little too much on "the girls" to earn her tips for the night. There were all of two beers on tap to compliment the otherwise full service bar, both of which fell in the "American Light Lager" category and after selecting Coors Light over Bud Light I watched as my beer was poured into a mug that had been in a steaming dishwasher mere moments before. Recognizing her faux pas the bar maid cheerfully relayed to me that "It ain't cold but at least it's clean!" Yes. At least it was clean.

Zero star if I could. Never again returning. Will be sure to tell everyone not to go. Atmosphere is off, the people were unwelcoming, rude, and standoffish including the bartender. I'm all for a dive bar but not where I'm going to be feeling uncomfortable because the people clearly didn't want us there. Seems like a place that only likes their regulares and hates everybody else.
