Love this nursery!! I have a black thumb and they are always so helpful and give me helpful tips to key my plants alive. They have a great selection of plants and specialty, hard to find plants.

One of my wife's favorite places to visit in Bakersfield is Bolles Nursery Landscape. I like browsing through all the plants and trees, but coming to Bolles is dangerous for the pocketbook. They carry so many plants, flowers, and trees that tempt my wife too much. She seriously wants so much from here!I'm proud of her, though, because she has always been able to stick to our budget every visit we make to Bolles. This nursery is not the cheapest in town. In fact, they are a bit more on the pricier side. I find the service and staff to be better at Bolles than the competition, though. Also, the selection here is awesome. If you cannot find what you are looking for at Bolles, then most likely you are not going to find it anywhere else in town. I'm sure they could probably order what you want too. They aim to please.

Bolles has been a welcome relief during the pandemic. With all this time both working and living at home has made me appreciate things like beautiful plants and landscaping. Bolles is a lovely place to wander around and explore. I've been able to get tons of new ideas for some mini landscaping projects. Pricing is a bit high - but on par with what you'll find at locally owned landscaping companies. Plus you're paying for the customer service and knowledge.

With this pandemic I found new ways to appreciate the beautiful things in life and this place is IT! It has the set up of a cute little home that was turned into a nursery. They have all you want, need and plants that you have to take because they are just gorgeous! They carry flowers, trees, succulent, plants fountains and so much more! The people are very helpful and knowledgeable. They will walk you to your car and load your plants too! A big plus is that they have great prices! I love walking around I feel like I'm in some foreign place waiting for a bunny to pop up. As I walk around I take my cart and load up all the flowers and plants I like, but next time I will be loading trees. Planting is a great hobby and it brings some sort of joy in your heart. So, I strongly recommend this place to go pick up some flowers or trees and feed the earth and your heart with joy.

My favorite place in Bakersfield staff is awesome and they always have beautiful cactus. I go almost weekly. Got this guy this week and love it. Have never seen one this color!

Bolles is the best place in town to get excellent plants for a great price! I go here for all my gardening needs and count on them for great quality and a great price.

I have been shopping at Boles for decades! I love the selection and the quality of the plants. Today, I had an experience that hurt me and made me decide never to shop at Boles again. I was set to have dirt delivered tomorrow, but I decided to call today to see if I could get the dirt delivered early due to a change in my schedule. Steve answered the phone and said, "F%$# your dirt!" He then hung up on me.I am a senior who is very respectful to everyone around me. To say that I was disappointed in his behavior and his aggressiveness towards me would be an understatement. I am saddened by how I am being treated after my loyalty for so many years.

I think I had an equally horrible experience with the lady that was awful to another commenter. She was just awful, wouldn't listen to me, and when I tried to apologize to her (which she didn't deserve), she went right on talking at me. I very loudly told her to shut the you-know-what up! I'm pleased to see that she has been let go. I don't know what her problem was, but because of her I'll never go back. I had shopped there on and off for maybe 30 years, beginning in their old location. My experience with her was weirdly unforgettable.
