Boba Tea Bar

This was our first time coming here and definitely did not disappoint. No long wait. We ordered a blended coffee with boba, green apple smoothie with boba, mocha coffee, and a ying yang custom drink. We absolutely will come back for a drink.

I placed a quick phone order for two avocado smoothies. (My favorite avocado smoothie place doesn't offer it anymore). The person that took my order was very friendly and asked how long it would take me to arrive. I opted to pick up via drive thru so I didn't get to see the inside. The drive thru wait was minimal as there was a car in front of me. Unfortunately, the smoothies weren't the best. The flavor was lackluster and could barely taste any avocado flavor. The texture was more icy than creamy. The sweetness level was also below average. It also seems like they use ice/water? I didn't get any of the creaminess that I expected. It was quite disappointing so my quest for avocado smoothies continues.

First time ordering here and they didn't disappoint. I wanted an avocado smoothie but also wanted it with coconut flavor and they said they could put both in. Came out delicious.

Decided to treat myself to a Thai tea with boba. I was excited to see that they only slightly raised their prices. I paid $6.30 for a large Thai iced tea and it was delicious! Love that I can drive-thru!

It was ite. I have been seeing things about bubble tea in the media. I was driving by this drive up and gave it a try.

I came thinking that the cafe would be open for indoor seating but it wasn't. They've should've put up a sign that recommends drive thru only. I was a bit overwhelmed with their menu so I asked what do you suggest to the cashier and she had no idea what to suggest except for their house milk tea which wasn't adjustable and already pre-made. No thanks. I ordered an almond milk tea with soy milk and boba and custard pudding. When my drank came out, there was only custard pudding... I also asked if they would not put any extra sweetener. Just make the drink and that's it so 0% sweetness... she says, so regular? At that point I was done. The drink is okay, which is why I gave 2 stars but I'm a firm believer if you work somewhere you have to try out your own products right? Another disappointing boba spot in Bakersfield unfortunately.

I was excited to try a new boba spot but the customer service here was the worst I've ever experienced by far. There wasn't a single customer and when I came in to place my order, the girl behind the counter was very rude and annoyed for no reason. My drink had little pieces of trash inside. Wouldn't recommend coming here.

I love the tea here and the variety of options they have. Im kind of obsessed with boba, and always try out as many locations as I can whenever I visit a new city. This one used to be a favorite of mine in Bakersfield. Recently though, there are much better places to go. What I love: most boba cafes don't have many nondairy or caffeine free options. That's all I can drink because my body says nope to both of those. This place has a ton of those options! They also have nondairy creamer and plant based milk options. What is mediocre: The texture of their boba is okay, not bad or great. But I don't go because of the quality of their boba, I go because of their tea options. What isn't great: The reason I put a 3 star instead of 5 is because every time I've gone the service has always been sub par, and recently it was really laughable. I was greeted by a very high strung teenage girl who also happened to be the shift supervisor. I asked her if their jasmine rooibos tea had caffeine or if it was a true non-caffeinated rooibos. I had never seen a non-caffeinated jasmine tea before so I was making sure it wasn't a green tea/ rooibos blend.She told me that all rooibos has caffeine but she didn't know exactly how much. I corrected her and said rooibos doesn't have caffeine normally, and repeated that I was asking if this specific jasmine one did. She insisted that rooibos wasn't herbal and therefore had caffeine. This is very much not true, unless rooibos is blended with a caffeinated tea, it is naturally non caffeinated.She was very unwilling to hear what I was saying, and I could see she had no idea what she was talking about, so I took a chance and ordered the Jasmine Rooibos. It was amazing! Everything I had dreamed of in a Rooibos tea! 10/10. Hope she learns her tea properly before she insists on something that is obviously not true, especially if she's the shift supervisor. And maybe takes a chill pill, she seemed super stressed. Haha.

I love this place they have amazing drinks and the workers are always friendly. I love the cookies n cream frap it's one of my favorites.

The boba is really good. This has been my favorite place to go to for years. Personally I believe it's better than any other boba in town, especially with how many different flavors they have. The drive thru is very convenient and quick; the service is always great, you never wait a long time.
