Blush Beauty Eyebrow Threading

I believe this place is overdue for another review. I usually come here whenever I'm in bakersfield as I usually hate cheating on my eyebrow lady, but hey i gotta get my brows cleaned lol. For $13, the service isn't too bad, but there is definitely room for improvement. There's hand sanitizer in eye sight, but she doesn't apply any on herself or offers me any. Usually at some eyebrow places, they put a paper film over the chair as to kinda keep it clean per each client , but it isn't the case here. Aloe vera isn't offered here after brow appointments in case anyone is curious. Overall, it is pretty affordable if you're looking to get your brows done!

I've been here quite a bit of times since moving just down the street, but i didn't really feel like I really knew the services well to give a review until I started getting my eyebrows threaded. I came a few times, and it seemed the times I came, and I think they were different women doing my eyebrows. They would comment on my skin. Not subtle either, but start commenting on pores and such, and they would try to sell me their products to help my face. It made me uncomfortable and upset but made me wonder if they talked to all clients like this, so I stopped getting my eyebrows threaded. I just did my waxing at Palazzo Nails.Until yesterday, Palazzo Nails was kind of busy, so I went here for a threading, and the woman who did it was very kind and thorough. She didn't make any comments. She just did the service I came in for.

Went in (kind of) copper with about 2 months of root growth. Love the results, feel so happy! Ariany is the best that there is.

So....I went to get my hair done today....and it was a disaster. I asked for honey brown balayage and was told she didn't have time to do a balayage today (even though when I booked the appt, it booked 2 hrs and 45 minutes for the appt)--granted, I was 15 minutes late for the appt (and I let them know), so that's on me, but that still left 2.5 hours for the appt. Then, when I asked her to blend the root coverage, her idea was to just paint the new color lower on each strand of hair (and then charge more for it--after the fact)....then she burned my scalp with the blow dryer and burned the tip of my ear with the straightener. And she says to me "I try not to do that but sometimes it gets ya, but your the first one this month"......then she tells me as I check out (after I'm almost in tears because the color is way darker than I wanted) that "it's normally $70 but because of the style and bringing the dye lower, it's more this time, but next time it won't be this much". She charged me $120, made sure to look at how much of a tip I gave (10% ONLY because it's Christmas Eve) and STILL gave me a disappointed look before I turned to walk out the door. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! IF you take a chance and go here, don't EVER go to Katy!! You'll regret it.

I love going here to get my brows done!! It's affordable, quick and they really put effort into making your brows look sharp and clean.

The younger girl messed upmy eyebrows too thin. Kira is great! But is only there Sundays.

I have long hair down to my waist that was one length and asked for long layers. A truly talented stylist Ravender gave me exactly what I wanted and still kept my length. She was honest and knowledgeable. I explained how my hair had been tangling recently and she was able to advise me on some methods to prevent it. I love the shampoo and leave in conditioner they used, even my husband said I smelled great! I also got my eyebrows threaded and they are still great weeks later.

If I could give negative 10 stars to this place and the people that work here, I absolutely would. I got a what was supposed to be a hair trim but got a complete choppy mess a few days ago here and she had also done my boyfriends hair and he gave her a specific reference photo and cut his hair way too short and even after he told her it was short, she gaslight him and said that he just needed to blow dry it and add pomade, like it would have been okay if she couldn't cut hair the way he wanted to then she could have said that so that he wouldn't have to go through that but she didn't and the stylist also proceeded to charge me and him 35$ each but on top of that, the stylist who did my hair also just left my hair wet after cutting it and didn't dry it or cared to style or anything. Came out with literally a trim that was really bad and my boyfriends hair looking way too short and choppy too and I'm really unhappy with this experience and I will go out of my way to tell anyone and everyone to never come here.

The girls who do the threading are great I've never had an issue before! They are not really pushy either about doing upper lip or face.Arianny is really good at cutting hair and she is so sweet! The prices for getting your haircut are really reasonable. I send all of my family and friends to come here. There is no reason to go anywhere else Arianny is the best! If she left I would follow her but I am glad that she has been there for a few years!

10/10 favorite place to get my eyebrows threaded! I now live in Oregon but come back often to visit family and come here every time. Ravinder has been doing my brows for the past 12 years and I have never let anyone else touch them. Panama location is also great!
