Blue Ginger Pho

Pretty average Vietnamese restaurant, the food was average considering it's the only Viet restaurant in the areai. Service was good, ambiance was alright, there are some things I want to consider.The prices on their menu were pretty expensive for the quantity you get. $17 for the pho and $7 for spring rolls. The meatballs in the phó were kinda old and chewy, basil was a little old and bruised up, peanut sauce was watery, and broth had a mild beef flavor to itBesides that it's a good spot to eat at if you're passing through or craving phó

We used to eat often at Blue Ginger years ago when we lived in the area, and were pleasantly surprised to find it still open when we were visiting recently. The menu has been scaled back a bit, and when we asked the servers about the missing items it was clear they had very limited English. Which wasn't really a problem; service was still friendly and attentive. The food was just ok; we got the phô, which was decent sized but not very flavorful. The fresh rolls were also pretty big but likewise bland. The decor was exactly as I remembered it from long ago. It was nice to visit an old favorite, and I hope it will still be around next time we're in town.

Our favorite little spot for some Pho fast service great food and that just hits the spot every time .

We love a good bowl of pho on a cold winter night. The brisket pho is the preference for our whole family. Their spring rolls with peanut sauce are nice too. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. My only complaint is that their to-go soups come in plastic containers. I don't like all that plastic leaching into my food during my half hour drive home. I've started bringing my own glass jars, but they don't fill those up for me, so I just really quickly take the broth and pour it into the glass asap upon purchasing.

The chicken pho is prepared with love! I was served right away and the ambience is welcoming and warm. The broth is great and soul soothing.

Food was excellent for a cold day and the service was impeccable! Ordered takeout and was given a good helping of mint, onions, and other soup add ons.

First noticed Blue Ginger Pho last week. A few nights ago we decided to eat dinner here. The landlord of that stripmall really needs to get the sign of the restaurant fixed. If I did not know the restaurant was here, I would have missed it because their sign was not lighted up. Since their Blue Ginger Pho sign was not lighted up, you could not see the restaurant from the street.Anyways, we made it inside and grabbed a table to dine at. They were not busy at the time so service was quick, efficient, and courteous. My wife enjoyed her Pho. I think it was #8. I sneaked a taste, and I thought the broth was tasty.I have no complaints regarding our visit to Blue Ginger Pho. I would not hesitate returning whenever we crave Vietnamese cuisine in Tehachapi.

Super quick service and their pho is amazing! Love this place, especially on a rainy day.
