I love coming to Blue Fig Farms to order their Manakesh. It's always made fresh! Today I decided to try their specialty coffee, but the wait time was a lot longer than I had expected; I was able to get my manakesh, pay for it at checkout, and even put it in my car by the time my coffee was ready... The barista was very apologetic about it. Because this is my first time ordering coffee here, I don't really anticipate that it usually takes this long. Yet, I do feel hesitant to come back for coffee. The date and tahini latte was good. The coffee flavor is very strong, so if you prefer your coffee on the sweeter side the. The flavor combination of date and tahini was reminiscent of peanuts! It sounds odd, but I liked it.

A Lebanese-American colleague recommended this ethnic store to me a few months ago. I told him I'd give it a glance. In hindsight, I should have "glanced" a long time ago! Immaculately clean, well-organized, and offering a variety of Mediterranean and South and Central Asian products, this establishment also boasts of a bakery, Halal butchery and coffee shop. I went in with my husband and he was giddy because he felt as if he was "home" in Brooklyn at the local Arab markets. The employees are professional and helpful--not hoity-toity at all. Additionally, the prices for the quality of goods is very reasonable. I cannot wait to go back

Finally tried this market. It is a gem. Turkish coffee in different unique flavors like date and rose. Then there is the bakery that offers different breads. The meat selection was stocked and included lamb and goat not something you find every where. The frozen was small but had several unique items including kadafiya (for Dubai chocolate bars). Everyone working was helpful. It is worth checking out.

This market is an absolute gem! Not only do they sell a great selection of halal groceries, but their coffee and pastries are truly delicious--so good that we've already been back several times. We've also stocked up on their high-quality tea, spices, and fresh halal meat, which have all been exceptional. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the overall experience keeps us coming back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing food, groceries, and a warm atmosphere!

This was my first visit since they changed names from Medi-Grocery and moved from Oak Street. It is so well-stocked but the on-site bakery is a stroke of genius. Try the barbari bread.

This is truly an amazing middle eastern / international market. The quality of ingredients, produce, meat everything looked clean, fresh and displayed clearly. The staff was wonderfully helpful and friendly. For our ride back to the Bay Area we got mannaish , meat , cheese and egg with cheese . I also got baklava and mamoul and other fresh homemade goodies . I wish these were wonderful people open one like this near me. If I lived in Bakersfield this would be my weekly grocery spot
