BL is the best! Great selection in the store, great food from the kitchen, friendly staff, reasonable turn around times... I love this place

Best local bbq. Make sure and call ahead to order since wait times can be lengthy! The wait is worth it though! They sell meats and side by the pound and also do catering. Hidden gem.

Great quality beef, seafood, duck, cheeses, little selection of grillable veggies. There is a wide range from the most expensive marbled Wagyu to the simple carne Asada. I'm impressed by the quality of meat, and like to find the great deals hidden in the corners, like the "Grass fed Wagyu Beef Brisket" for $7.99 a lb.

They sell the best briskets In town! Some time the wagyu is on sale for a very good price ! Great service too.

Pains me to say this. This place is my go to for exotic meats and meat in general. I love them which is why I can't bring myself to do 1 star. My complaint is oddly specific. I've gone through them 3 times to slice meat for making beef jerky and yet they can't seem to figure it out, or at least care enough to give a quality product. It's not a hard order, slice up some London broil in thin sheets but in return I've received butched random slices and different degrees of thickness. Today I ordered 4 pounds and could only use 3 pounds of it bc I can't dehydrate half inch thick stips of meat. For a company that is supposed to be a "quality meat" place, figure it out.

10/13/23 Getting food for lunch tomorrow. 2 1/2 chicken plates & a rib plate ordered with ranch beans, loaded mashed potatoes, potato salad & macaroni salad. Rib plate came with sides too! The worker was kind and happy to give recommendations. They are busy and he said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I went in to get it. Safe & clean! After walking in, I wasn't sure where to go. I asked asked & a worker asked if it was raw or cooked. Said cooked and I was told to go back outside and to the left. Did so and waited a bit. Not even recognized. I had to say something . Not a welcoming worker at all when I asked about my order. Pretty rude! Why? . Paid for the order with thanks and a welcome and told it would be up in a little bit. They were busy! Waited a bit more before it was handed over and left. Took much longer than told it would take to be ready. Hopefully the food is good! Customer service really needs work! The guy that took the order was better! Outside are a bunch of tables & chairs to eat if you want.10/14/23 Lunchtime! We had a little bit of everything to try! Chicken was seasoned good & with with the BBQ sauce, it was really good! Rib was tender & delicious! Potato salad was flavorful along with the macaroni salad! Tasty ranch beans & loaded potatoes too! Mother said hers was good. She really liked the ribs and said they were barbecued really well!! She said the macaroni salad was really good too! A LOT of leftovers! Another meal & then some! Really wish the service wasn't so bad! Would've received 5 stars, but it made the food not as Great! I would rather go elsewhere with great service than go through what I did to receive it. Not worth it.

Great selections of meat and seafood. Friendly staff, and always will to answer any questions you may have. Great selection of seasonings and rubs and marinades. They have the take a number machine, but damn who knows when they really use it. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. Just use it all the time, gets confusing.

I love a good meat shop and I am a huge fan of BL Quality Meats. They feature Harris Ranch Beef which never disappoints. I come in here quite often because there is always a great selection of beef, pork and chicken all displayed behind the glass meat counter in any cut that you can think of. Marinated meats are also on hand. BL Quality Meats is much more than the meat counter. It is also a specialty food store where you can find anything you might need to create a wonderful meal with one stop shopping. There is a great selection of seasonings, sauces and oils that you will not find in the local grocery stores. There is a barbecue takeout counter for your lunch and quick dinner needs. You can never go wrong with their tri-tip dinner special. That's what we are having tonight.I give a four-star because the service is not so friendly.

Best place to get your bbq either cooked or to cook! I decided to try out their Tri Tip for the first time and it was amazing for the $50 because I spent with Garlic bread. Worth it! Service was quick! The place is located on a little corner and you may miss it cause it's literally right next to a Save Mart and a gas station but still we'll worth it.

The meat market has good quality meat. I don't think it's pricier than the grocery store. Depends on what you're buying. Ground beef and certain cuts are comparable or less expensive than SM.
