I saw this place on Instagram a few times and added it to my to-do list because my life is chasing top-tier tacos. My opportunity came on a recent road trip between SF and LA, so I made the detour into Bakersfield to check this taco truck out.It's located in a parking lot with plenty of seating. I ordered three quesabirria tacos, and they came out quickly, served with consommé for dipping and lots of salsa picante. These were definitely top-tier tacos--top-tier salsa picante and great consommé that really tied everything together.The people who worked there were very nice, and I got the impression it's a neighborhood spot--lots of patrons sticking around for lunch, and many seemed to know each other. That gave it a friendly, local feel.The price was the opposite of sticker shock--I'm used to $5 Bay Area basic tacos, so this was a nice bonus. I'd recommend this if you're in Bakersfield or just passing through.

Consistently delicious. I would eat here a lot more often if my diet would allow it. Service is quick and friendly. Tacos and consume are drool worthy. Would def recommend. Also a fan of their horchata.

Great food and prices! Service is good and food is served fast. The tacos and tortas are good. My favorite is the cabeza torta. They are the best and the meat is very tender.

One of the best birria and alpastor here in town ..if u haven't gave this place a try ..ohhh u are missing out ..located in the parking lot of the indoor swap meet off Brundage...good friendly service music on the place is always welcoming it's a vibe

Cute little setup as expected for a food truck. Horchata was sweet and nice on a hot day. I enjoyed the red hot sauce but the meat lacked some flavor. I asked for guacamole but didn't get any.

Saw this place on Instagram, wasn't disappointed. The birria is on point lots of flavor. I had a carnitas taco it was crispy just how I like them. Pastor taco was good as well, the quesabirrias were crispy as well...

Today my girlfriend and I decided to try birrieria Garcia out since it looked really good on instagram. For $41 we got a lot of food. I can say the portion size is great but overall taste was not that pleasant. I got a chicken torta and it was a bit on the salty side, the birria tacos lacked a bit of flavor and the consume tasted like beef bouillon in water. The Asada on our nachos could've been cooked a bit longer. Comparing to their competitor Birria bros which is a little further down the way. This place doesn't really compare to Birria bros flavor profile.

Bien rico la birria de res. La agua de jamaica también bien rica. La gente muy amable.
