I worked with Shane, Eric, Brittney, and Eduardo and everyone was amazing. Shane was very responsive to my initial email of looking for the RAV4 and directing me over to Eric who was able to order the car I was looking for. He was very responsive and communicated well through email which was my preferred communication method. When it came time to go to the dealership to pick up my car, Brittney was the one who helped me and she was also fantastic. She was helpful with all my questions and didn't seem annoyed that I wanted to test, drive the car and have my husband test drive the car before purchasing. Then, when I went to financing Eduardo Was very straightforward in regards to how much things would cost and was not pushy with the extended warranty. In fact, I didn't feel like anyone I dealt with was overly pushy or trying to oversell me on something I didn't want. I appreciate that the dealership honored the quote they originally gave me since I've been to some other dealerships in Bakersfield to try to change the quote after I arrive. I drove 3 1/2 hours to purchase my car here, and if I want to purchase another Toyota I would absolutely consider driving all the way to Bakersfield again to purchase from this dealership. I had a very positive experience here and I'm happy with my new car.

My first and last time buying a vehicle from Bill Wright Toyota. As a local Veteran, I told the dealer I wanted to purchase my daughter's first car from a local dealership that is known for supporting local Veterans and I was referred to Bill Wright by a well-respected local Veterans non-profit. Upon purchasing the car had an airbag fault which left my daughter without her car for a week. Then a week later the air conditioner on the passenger side quit working. Two months later we discover the oil is extremely low, there's metal in the oil, and the piston rings are fried. Now the car is going to need a new engine. The car was purchased as-is with no warranty. Good Job Bill Wright! You got me good. I thought I was buying from a reputable dealer that I can trust. Lesson learned. I will never buy from you again and I encourage local Veterans to not fall for your deceptive sales tactics.

Not good and getting worse. Skirting the edge of criminality and less than efficient. Bill Wright Toyota is a den of jerks that take advantage of the people that depend on others to know what they are doing when it comes to all aspects of vehicle ownership. Crooks. I tried to purchase a car from them, no joy and was forced to go elsewhere. Wife picked up a nail an inch of center in the tread. On the phone they said the tire is covered for repair so she took it to them. Four days later the tire is flat and upon inspection they never pulled the nail. This time I went with her to find the point of communication breakdown. After several HOURS she was told that the tire was not reparable because the nail was too close to the sidewall and they wanted to sell he a mis matched tire for her new car. Yeah right these guys are crooks and this is only one example. I have more but whats the use these guys are pathetic. I just went over to America's Tire Store and they repaired the tire the correct way patched from inside. She was in and out in 30 minutes and because I purchase my tires from these guys over the years, they did it for free with a smile on their face. This was a blatant attempt at skullduggery! And furthermore the vehicle we brought in we had to purchase from another dealership and this is why. I purchased a 2011 Camry XLE 3.5 from Bill Wright Toyota. The purchase went smoothly. The trans just suddenly went away at 187,000 miles, so I went looking for my next Toyota. After doing my due diligence I went to Bill Wright Toyota to look at a 2024 RAV4. My wife and I enter the showroom where a red Corolla was front and center and there were a couple of guys standing around talking to each other. One looks over and says, sorry everybody's at a meeting, what are you looking for? I said we're interested in a RAV4. Okay. There are four out there on the lot if you want to walk out there and take a look. We said okay and walked out to where the cars were located. We were trying to see inside but the doors were locked and the tint and all, so after a couple of minutes I told the wife "Let's go". As we walked back to our truck a man in his fifties came out of the side door near the old service entrance and says hey I thought you wanted to see a car! His cigarette half gone and looking somewhat unkempt. We just said no thanks and left. This is not good.

This review is specific to service advisor Chris Moynier. I took my car in to program my 2nd key and there was an issue after getting my car. Nothing to do with the key & not my fault. Chris right away promised to make it right and took care of me. He went above & beyond to take care of the issue and scheduled Uber rides, drop off & pick ups around my schedule. What started off as a potential bad experience, turned into great customer service, thanks to Chris. I recommend you going to see Chris if you want to be taken care for your Toyota service.

On a road trip from San Diego to San Francisco we suddenly heard a loud noise coming from the bottom of our 2019 Prius. Luckily, we were close to Bill Wright Toyota in Bakersfield. We took our vehicle to the Service department at Bill Wright. They saw us right away even though we did not have an appointment. The manager, Jose Zuniga was the most kind and professional service person we have come across in a long time. They fixed the immediate problem and got us on our way. We highly recommend Bill Wright Toyota. Jose deserves a raise!!

Bill wright Toyota did us RIGHT. First time buyers here!The whole experience from start to finish went so smoothly and perfectly. It was truly a wonderful experience!Our salesman was Jose, he was so easy to talk to, so professional and non pushy.We really appreciated how he made it all about us and what we wanted Verses what they wanted to give us... As some car dealerships will try to limit first time buyers.(Honda cough cough)Immediately, right off the bat, he asked us what we were looking for.. of course we wanted a Toyota Corolla SE lol.. it's what we have been doing our research on and had set our hearts on!He responded that he didn't think they had any of those in stock, and he wanted to see when the next shipment would be coming in...so after a quick computer check, he was surprised to find that they did indeed have ONLY one more in stock, in fact, it was on hold under his name for another customer, only the customer didn't exist and he didn't even know how that happened. It was like the car was put aside for someone else, but he has nobody in his system that he was supposed to meet and sale it to... it was a Miracle lol!It was meant for us!!After running the credit & crunching the numbers, Jose made sure we got the best deal!! We ended up getting financed under the Toyota dealership, and not one of the many banks they work with, Our APR was super low.Monthly payments where fair,Plus all the bells and whistles that came along with it too, like road side assistance, tire & wheel assistance, 100,000 mile warranty, gap insurance, free car service for 4 years, plus a lot of other really awesome perks! We got to meet Kal too, he was the finance manager and was the one who finalized the deal and paperwork with us, he too was easy to talk to, funny and very professional.The whole process with him went super smooth and the entire process all together took only a few hours ...They really made us feel like family here!!We couldn't have been more reassured and confident in such a major decision and process like this!Jose even took the time to sit in our car with us to teach us about the different features and buttons in the car too. . .We were blown away from all the technology! Lol and he made sure we had a basic understanding of everything before we drove off, which was really nice!I'd say we drove off in our brand new 2022 Corolla SE as happy as can be. I've bought numerous vehicles from Bill Wright Toyota over the years, a Corolla, a platinum Tundra and two platinum Sequoias. Bought a 4Runner TRD in May 2024 from a different Toyota dealership because they couldn't beat the price. Went to Bill Wright this weekend to look at purchasing a loaded Tacoma and met one of the sales reps, NICK PEREZ, this guy has to be one of the pushiest/sleeziest sales reps, the kind that comes to mind when you think about a car salesman. I am a physician and have bought many vehicles, this was one of the worst salesmen I have dealt with, he started with going on and on about leaving a $500 deposit to put a hold on an incoming vehicle I hadn't even seen, which I did, he never gave me a receipt for the deposit. The final straw was when we were leaving, after I had already left a $500 deposit in the vehicle, was when I asked for the spec sheet and the interest rate/payment options we had just discussed he asks "why, so you can go shop around some more." I walked out with any paperwork on a $55,000 vehicle I was trying to buy. After that interaction, I went to the Chevrolet dealership and bought a new Colorado Z2 (which actually beat Tacoma in a head-to-head match up in Motor Trends). My wife went back to Bill Wright to get our deposit back, they then said everyone was gone that could process it but they would make a note for the people that process and that I could check back on Wednesday (it was Saturday) and see if it was processed. If you are shipping for a vehicle in Bakersfield and specifically a Toyota, avoid Bill Wright and go out of town, especially avoid Nick Perez if you don't want a miserable shopping experience.

What a total scam, the car dealers have become so corrupt ripping people off. A$6 quality part from ebay costs $35 at the dealership. Do yourself a favor, anytime that you can avoid the dealer please do so. They only think of lining their pockets with other people's hard earned money by charging a very high price and scamming people. The service has become terrible and it is all together a BIG RIPPOFF. And to top it off, they really think that they are hot potatoes.
