Bill Ray Tile

Such an amazing selection of tile and flooring. Found exactly what I wanted with the help of Victor who is very experienced and pointed us in the right direction. So thank you Victor and Bill Ray Tile.

We are remodeling our bathroom and our contractor sent us to Bill Ray Tile to do our selections. We made three trips there and our salesman was very nice and helpful to us. He got us a sample and was very helpful. Since we already shopped around we knew their prices and service are good. They have a great showroom with lots to pick from. Victor is a excellent employee and we appreciated him. Victor made a extra effort when we told him we needed the tile quickly. He made the phone calls and made it work and it's being done now in the time frame we needed.

We were on the search for new flooring. Some of our friends recommended Bill Ray Tile. So head on over, we did. What we found was a well organized warehouse of choices. Wifey was feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the choices, and there were dozens of floor tiles to choose from. Finally with the help of some awesome friends, we narrowed our choices to 4 styles. We asked for a sample of each tile to bring home in order to help us decide what we preferred. Costs $10 for each sample you bring home. As long as you return them within 2 weeks, you will get your money back.The employee who helped us did a good job. He greeted us right away. He answered all our questions. Professional and helpful.Although we ended up not purchasing the floor tiles from Bill Ray, I still suggest dropping by. Their prices are reasonable when compared to the competition in town. They have a vast selection of tiles to choose from. We did not find what fits for our home, but there is a good chance you will.

They had great customer service and we loved that they had most products in stock. We had a great experience here.

Bill Ray earned our business simply by having the best selection of wood-look tile, and the perfect one for our home, and at a very competitive price. We were recommended by our good friend (and favorite tile contractor), Mike Marroquin. He has done business with them for 17 years, and says that not only are the people at Bill Ray honest, knowledgeable, and attentive, but also order only the best quality of tile. I could not disagree. For all my future tile needs, I will shop with Bill Ray first. The cherry on top is that they're local. I love supporting local merchants/small business, especially on the Eastside of Bakersfield. My only concern with the store is it's lack of technology. I understand the modest, throwback style of business that they run, but a computer to track business wouldn't hurt

Tile, Tile, TileBathroom, Kitchen, Pool, floor etc Lots of different designs, colors. Nice, helpful service. They had a lot more 4x4 tiles with designs a few years ago as opposed to now. Sales rep said they did not sell so cut back on that.Great tile showroom!

Rusty and everyone else at Bill Ray are great! The patience that they had while I asked questions and picked everything out was really appreciated! I won't need to shop anywhere else for tile needs. Thank you to this staff! Also, my tile is BEAUTIFUL!

On the plus side, they have a huge selection. And plenty of sales folks to help you. And offer assurances that their actual policies do not always back up. Watch that die. Print!!However, beware their return policy. Anyone who has ever employed a remodeled knows that these folks take time, especially when unforeseen house remodel problems crop up... and Bill Rays has a 7 day return limit! RIDICULOUS when your contractor needs two to four weeks to demolish and recreate your bathroom! They SAY that returning unused boxes of tile after a week is usually no problem but they do not mention that slight variations in tile batches could render your return out of date. Which ours was due to a tiny, invisible to the eye shade of difference in their new lot...by the same name!!! Cost us nearly $200 in unreturnable shower tile.
