Big Al's BBQ & Catering

Stopped by on my way down the hill. Ordered the Tri-Tip Sandwich with a side of BBQ beans and Mac and cheese. The sandwich was delicious, the BBQ sauce was tasty and the size of the sandwich was perfectly fine.

Came to Kernville for whiskey flats days and happened across Big Al's. The loaded baked potato was outstanding. Tender Tri tip, baked potato cooked perfectly

I loved it when the truck was parked near my house! I have mobility disabilities and they were wonderful in helping me get my food by meeting me part way. The boss even delivered it a couple times. My go to is the baked potato! SUPER good!

I wasn't very hungry so I let the worker pick something for me. Ended up with a tri tip sandwich. It was worth the money. I'd prefer a spicier BBQ sauce and the option of peppers and onions on it. It's tough to please everyone so I'd suggest asking for extra BBQ sauce on it. Definitely try this food truck out.

Big Als is the go to place for good BBQ. I leave happy every time! They use such high quality ingredients and the food is delicious.

I'd like to express my gratitude to the owners, and employee's of Big Al's Catering. They not only showed me great customer service, but great quality food. All Harris Ranch. The ribs are my favorite, but, you can order tri-tip, chicken, links, fully loaded baked potato with any meat of choice. They also have plenty of sides to choose from, and you will not be disappointed! They are conveniently located downtown, and are always available for your lunch, or dinner needs. Takeout is available, and they accept all forms of payment. (Except bartering) LOL. Jkjk. The owner stands behind his food. So, next time you get a chance, and craving authentic bbq, go see them.

Too thick almost roast beef tasting meat flavored well by real wood chips. Vinegar based BBQ sauce soaked through the bread. Bread used was sesame seeded hot link bun without weight or chew. There's an unannounced and unpublished dollar fee for the credit card. Other items on the menu include plates, ribs, chicken hot link and Walking Cheetoh Boat. I was a little hungry and still am.
