This store is adorable and definitely worth stopping by! My husband and I were on our way back to LA from Death Valley and stopped by here when we spotted it randomly. We were looking for a nativity set and found a good selection here and bought one figurine of Jesus in the stable. Sooo many cute and pretty and yummy things in this store!!

Found this gem of a store yesterday. There were all kinds of antiques, trinkets and goodies. The ladies were so nice and helpful. It was so cozy, I think I could spend an entire afternoon there and not get bored. Found my lamp there!!!! Had to replace the one I broke, oops.If you are in the area, you should check it out.

Absolutely a must see while visiting Ridgecrest. The shop is adorable with a huge selection of antiques, home items, and tons of great decorating or gift items. The owner Lynn is very nice and works very hard to keep her inventory fully updated and stocked. I visited in October and bought 2 Halloween items. I returned again in November and the store had been completely redone for Christmas. There are so many nice things in this store!! Very classy and not cluttered or dirty like some antique stores.

Terrible experience here. My young son accidently bought the wrong lantern, and when we went to exchange it THE NEXT DAY for the right one, they were out of stock of the one he was supposed to buy. They ABSOLUTELY refused to do a refund or even offer store credit! So now we are stuck with a $60 lantern that we simply wanted to exchange. The owner claimed that they were a "small business" and couldn't afford to do returns, claiming it was a "holiday item" even though no signs were posted in the store or on the receipt regarding final "holiday" sales, nor was he told that important tidbit at purchase time. No wonder no one likes to shop "locally". I will never go there and will tell all my friends to stay away from Baxendale's! They are not "home-town friendly" at all. OBTW I found the same item for $39.99 on-line.
