Bakersfield Sports Medicine and Rehabilittve Therpy

My complaint is not with the physical therapist, I had several sessions and was never once told that I had a copay. Months after I was done with physical therapy I get a call from the office telling me I owed $150 in copays. I am on disability and did not have $150 so they talked me into giving them my debit card info and making 3 $50 payments. I made one payment and got A letter with explanation of benefits from my insurance and the letter showed that I did not owe any money. It was zero responsibility for the patient so I emailed a copy of this letter to the physical therapy office and ask them to refund my $50 they refused and actually had the nerve to call me and ask for more money. I am going to report them to The appropriate agency that handles insurance fraud....they refused to give me back my money, even though I gave them a copy of the letter.

If you need physical therapy this is the joint to go everything That works here is very professional and knowledgeable and will get you back to health. I would never choose another place BSMART is family.

The professions here are excellent. They listen to their patients and then help relieve their problems. All of the staff is very friendly, kind and helpful. They worked with me until my problems were resolved.

Hi everyone,I am in the process of recovering from Partial Knee surgery that was done on 8/15/2019.I am writing this to let everyone know that it has been a wonderful experience. On the 15th of August my surgery was completed early in the morning and I was on my way home in the late afternoon. The worse day for me (pain wise) was the following Saturday. I believe I was to blame for that day. I did not take my pain medication on a correct schedule. Since the surgery, I have been walking everyday. At first it was short walks around the house with a walker and now I am able to walk without a walker or cane and I am driving again.I have been going to my Physical Therapist on a regular schedule. When I first went to PT I could not bend my knee past 77 degrees, today I was able to bend it to 123 degrees. If you have knee surgery, follow the Doctor's directions, absolutely go to Physical Therapy. LOVE THIS PLACE!! We switched from a pediatric physical therapy business in town to BSMART & we couldn't be happier with our decision. Our entire family has noticed a big change in our daughter since we started coming here. Our 8 year old daughter would scream through her therapy at the other place, at BSMART not only is she not screaming, but she loves to come to physical therapy now! The office staff is extremely professional and kind. The therapists are THE BEST we have ever meet (our daughter has cerebral palsy & we have seen a lot of therapists). The therapists and staff are incredible, simply put.Not only do I HIGHLY recommend this business, but I thank them for all they have done for our family. It feels great to have such wonderful and caring professionals in Bakersfield.

Having a knee replacement last year, I wanted the best physical therapy and I was led by prayer to BSMART. This team has truly been an answer to prayer in more ways than one and truly IS exceptional. They offer the best care one on one with compassion, and very attentive to your specific need. They truly exemplify professionalism. I have never seen a team that truly cares about their patients health and welfare. I have had years of physical therapy from other places and there is absolutely NO comparison.
