Bakersfield Pool Supply

I made an appointment with Bakersfield Pool Supply to give me an estimate for a new pool cleaner, salt generator, Filter system, etc. . . my appointment was for today at 11am. . . They never showed! No phone call, no text, nothing. just left me hanging. . . . Totally unexpected. I heard good things about them, that's why I wanted to do business with them. unfortunately they don't want to do business with me. . . . What a shame. I have a budget of $5,000 for my new system. It must be nice to have so much business that you can actually ghost customers when you want to.

After being a loyal customer for years with Bakersfield Pool Supply they cancelled my account because I called to let them know my pool had turn green. I had several other pool services come out on the 4th of July to give me estimate on my pool situation because of all the damage they left behind. To find out that Bakerfield Pool Supply had not been servicing my pool correctly leaving my pump clogged, filter that had not been back washed in over a year. I would given them negative stars become been taking my money monthly for serivce they are not even providing.

Just a family owned store where the owners go the extra mile to help the customer. Every time I go in, I leave satisfied with the service and prices.Thank you guys and keep up the good work!!

This store is fine if you are only making purchases in the store. Pool cleaning another story. Not dependable, no communication and it's going on three days to clean our pool and they haven't shown up yet, so much for Saturday morning to finish the job.

Bakersfield Pool Supply exemplified professionalism, great service, and gave expert advice on the different types of pool filters available (ie sand vs DE). I was fortunate enough to run into Val and Joe in Bakersfield when I needed to change the pump and filter at our apartment complex. Keep in mind, this review is for a commercial pool. Initially, I was a little hesitant on choosing the sand filter because it does not catch the finer micro particles a DE filter would catch. However, after doing some research and asking Val why a sand would be better, I finally decided to go with it. She was very knowledgeable and told me that the naked eye would not be able to see the difference and that a sand filter would be much cheaper to maintain in the long term. In addition, the sand filter was already cheaper than the DE filter. At the end of the installation, I was able to see and meet Joe in person. I was a little in shock after seeing the pump in its entirety after it was installed. He had also told us that we would save a lot of money on our energy bills and water bills because we were switching from a single variable pump to a multi variable pump. At the end of the day, you really couldn't ask for a more honest and professional company. Thanks Joe & Val! We will be returning for our future pool maintenance needs as well.

Small storefront but what they lack in space they more then make up for in service. I am new to having a hot tub and needed to find out what I needed to get started on the chemicals. They made me feel like I was very important to them even though they knew I was not going to be a huge money maker for them. They could have sold me a huge kit of chemicals that I may not use and sent me on my way. Instead, they had me bring in a sample of my water and sold me EXACTLY the chemicals I needed for my hot tub. No upsell. Wow they saved me a lot of money and were very friendly and professional!Thank you so much for good service!Wendy

Worst experience ever. They could not get a dirty pool to be clean in a months time. They put all the muck that was at the bottom of the pool on my backyard grass. When I finally got through to a human on the phone they said they would call the head pool guy and he would get back to me. Well he did call and told me off and said he was done and would not do our pool. Happy 4th of July. One of the worst and most expensive games in town. Bad bad service and to talk to your clients the way Rob did is unacceptable. Felt bad for the girl at the office as it was easy to tell she fields many calls like mine wanting to know where is the pool guy.

I had this service and it didn't work out. The pool was always green. So, I got a new pool guy. When I notified Bakersfield Pool Supply, I received a very hateful email. Intimidating enough, I worry the guy may come back and mess up my pool equipment or hurt my dogs in the back yard! He tried to blame me for not keeping my pool clean, but wasn't that what I was paying him for????I called the company this morning to notify them of the situation. They did not accept any responsibility and were VERY rude and unprofessional! The only excuse they had was that the pool guy is an alcoholic!!!

If you don't mind a job incomplete, this company is for you!! We contracted Bakersfield Pool Supply to install tile in our pool, replace some decking and replace the pool light. Once they had completed the tile and decking, payment was requested for work completed. Once payment was made, they never returned to replace the light. It's been three years now therefore, it doesn't appear they will be back.

Pierre, who was promoted to manager when the other guy left, has filled us with nothing but EXCUSE after EXCUSE after EXCUSE on why their services are not being executed. Did I mention that they "forgot" about maintaining my grandparents pool for several months with no call, no apology and absolutely NO service, while still absolutely taking the monthly fee out of their account each month? This would have gone on forever if their children and grandchildren didn't finally step in to figure out what's going on. This has been the most UNPROFESSIONAL experience I've EVER had with a professional service, and meanwhile the owner has still not gotten back to me after requesting to talk to her MANY times. I will NOT recommend, in fact I will go out of my way to NOT recommend this place.
