I made an appointment to have my A/C looked at. I made the appointment for 11am the next day. I arrived at 10:55 on the hottest day of the year. It is already over 100 degrees. The gate is closed. I call the number and she says "I will send Jesse right out" I wait till 11:05 in 100 degree heat. I call back and Jesse answers. "Yeah, I'm running late from picking up parts, I won't be there for 45 minutes, but you can just leave the car." The area is not the best, I am not dropping my car off with someone I've never had face to face contact, and leaving my keys in a key drop. So...my question...why didn't they call me initially to reschedule? Once I was there were they going to call me and let me know what was going on? Was he just going to have me wait 45 minutes in 100+ degree heat?Update: I wish I had dug a little deeper on Yelp before making an appointment. Upon the comment left by the owner below I am glad that I didn't leave my car. It seems you get one of two experiences, either he is absolutely amazing or he has zero respect and then writes belligerent responses to truthful reviews. I do not think I am the only person with an A/C issue, but when I make an appointment I expect courtesy.

Jesse was an absolute life saver! It was 4:45 on a Friday and my daughter's car had broken down in Lost Hills. He drove all the way out from Bakersfield to diagnose the issue and the back again to grab a part. He had her back on the road minutes after he returned. The serpentine belt on our Duramax broke while towing our trailer to Yosemite National Park (the bearings seized up in one of the idlers). We were completely stranded. I called Jesse and he picked up right away. I explained the situation and he quickly ordered the parts, gave me a full quote and then arrived at our location off the freeway in about an hour. He texted me and kept me updated the whole time. He was very polite, personable and thorough. This is dealer quality service with fair pricing. Thank you Jesse!*Side note. If you happened to read my other reviews yes, this was the second issue we had on this camping trip! We texted Jesse the second time but he was out of town. Even though he was out of town he answered my text to let me know and he even offered some troubleshooting tips. That was very cool of him. Unbelievably we found another high quality mobile service.

Beware. Don't take your car to be repaired by this auto shop. Very dishonest owner and he probably has all his friends post all the 5 star reviews. I'm not even going to explain because he will probably answer me with an insult and call me a liar or other choice disrespectful words. Read the answers he has posted to people who were not satisfied. He is a scam. He always has an answer to the dissatisfied customers and he will never own up to his mistakes. Just took our money and didn't offer to right what they did wrong.Please just think twice about taking your car here and do your research. He is not the only repair shop and you have a choice to get good service or be ripped off

Jesse at Bakersfield Mobile Auto Repair was awesome! Our A/C failed on our way south to Mexico. Jesse got us in right away, iden the problem (compressor), then proceeded to source out parts needed for the repair. He had us back on the road just after 24 hours!

I was driving my Prius on the Grapevine when i noticed the over temp indicator light up on my dash. I pulled over to let things cool down, and I did a quick search to find a shop to take the car to. I saw Bakersfield Mobile Auto Repair, read some reviews, and decided this was the guy to go to. This family owned business is a shining example of a work ethic of years gone by. Its apparent they love what they do, and take pride in their shop. Immediately i was made to feel that i was in good hands.It turns out there was ALOT wrong with my car. Jesse made my problem his own. He did not stop until every issue had been addressed. During this process i saw first hand, how this family works together to deliver superior customer service and product support.Jessie was knowledgeable and transparent about his process. He was commutative and patient. Ultimately, I felt that he went above and beyond to ensure that my car was ready to hit that Grapevine again. I highly recommend Bakersfield Mobile Auto repair if you ever find yourself broken down in the LA/Bakersfield area. You will be in very good hands :)
