This review is long overdue. Last February (2023) our son who is non-verbal and has a host of other issues became ill. Upon the wonderful advice of my PCP, Dr. Emmanuel Strategos (who was on-call that night) recommended we go to the ER, providing insightful information and instruction. The entire staff, from Triage to phlebotomy to CT to ER nurses were amazing. Kind, attentive, cooperative and understanding. Our son's ER doc was dope. She took care of business in short order. Got our son treated starting life-saving antibiotics as she diagnosed him with pneumonia. Once in his room, all treating therapists, nurses and docs were over-the-top. God truly blessed us that night and the following days our son was in their hospital. So very very grateful to everyone!!!!

The social worker, Dmitry, doesn't call family back, left messages, and waited 2 days. We called back, and the nurse in ICU got her cause she happened to be there. When she was on the phone, OH MAN, NOT PROFESSIONAL. Telling family that if you don't decide to extubate, we will do it anyway. Really???!!!!! There are family members, they have at lease 21days then decide, and the doctors don't even have that right to extubate. THREATENING AND AGGRESSIVE. I hear DHS calling!!!!

What a joke! So we are not in Covid anymore and you will not let anyone under 12 see their dying grandparent! And then when I demand to speak to a supervisor your 80 year old security guard hands me a number to call and when I call they say yeah a max of 2 visitors and only over 22. My husband had three visitors in in grandpas rooms before him and then he went with my son. Seriously you wanna enforce this bull crap rule but hey let whoever in the room. If his hospital just doesn't want to deal with more people but don't take in effect that people want to visit their dying family members! Germs really get over yourself it isn't the icu!

I delivered my baby here on November 10th with Dr. McDermott and it was the best delivery experience I've ever had. Her and all the nurses that were part of my care team and all that came in to help during the delivery were wonderful and caring. After care was also great. I didn't want to leave! Thank you so much!

The reason for only 4 stars is having to check in and show your ID and get a sticker just ti visit a patient! The process is crazy because there is only one person at the counter registering visitors! It's nuts when there are 20-30 people waiting to check in and you see 2 other security people come to the desk only to turn around and walk away and not even help the person at the desk with everyone standing there. What's worse is there were elderly people with walkers standing in line! You need a better system!

This is literally the worst hospital that I have had the misfortune of seeking care in decades. The receptionists are very rude, they are grossly understaffed. They obviously run a mill. I was seeing instantly for useless intake which I'm sure it would cost a fortune. It guarantees I'm stuck here. I was exposed to poison sumac topical treatments did not work. I have very bad condition on both feet and spreading elsewhere and was simply in need of prednisone. I just turned in this after a call to my primary care in Boston after waiting here during our three. As I begin my fifth hour of waiting I am outside where I have been waiting. One reason is that a woman is in the tiny waiting room probably 20 x 20 is still hacking her lungs out - without a mask. This horrified me is there are elderly people. And other sick people within striking distance. The most horrifying fact is that she was seated less than 4 feet away from the special area with a seat pregnant women waiting to give birth. Several people who arrive by ambulance and now outside sitting with me. Avoid this place

Im writing to compare the care I received at Mercy on Truxtun ave. And the care I got at memorial on 34th for the same surgery. Well they were as different as is possible. Mercy was the worst experience Ive ever had. Memorial was beyond the best. The staff were like angels literally. I can't say enough good things. Hands down the only hospital I will ever go to for heath problems. If i could give them a ten rating I would.....

0 stars! Worst hospital I've been to. I'm on my 7th hour of waiting ( I wonder how many more to go) the receptionist are rude, lack compassion, the people taking vitals are aggressive . I can say with confidence that there is poor management here with workers only here for the money save your time and go elsewhere I wish I would've known sooner...

I came to this hospital to get help, I was bleeding out, they drew my blood and tested me for stds.. sent me away stating I needed to get in for a uterine biopsy.. hemoglobin 7.2...the soonest appointment available was two weeks out.. yet they said if it became worse that I needed to go back.. the next day I passed another giant clot, I bled past my menstrual disk, past my underwear, past my shorts and left a trail of blood from my living room all the way down the hall to my bathroom where I poured the contents of my disk into the sink. I was so weak I needed assistance to walk.. I went back to memorial, they did the same std tests even with their own discharge paperwork with negative tests from the day before.. again sent me away.. hemoglobin 7.1...Two weeks was the soonest appointment I could find: they couldn't preform the uterine biopsy because I was bleeding too heavily and was having too much pain... sent me to a different hospital.. I had fibroids that were hemorrhaging.. I was at 6.2 hemoglobin.. needed blood transfusions , dnc, and a hysterectomy... this hospital almost cost me my life.. don't come here if you want to live..
