Today my father went to be seen for right wrist pain after having carpal tunnel surgery over a year ago. The pain has been consistent. When asked what was wrong my father informed Sarah Geiger his pain and she verbatim told him "what do you want me to do for you?!" Now only is he getting ignored by his regular doctors he is getting the same treatment with the NP at this establishment. I do not recommend to see this person if you come here and the individuals who do work here need to be properly vetted before hire.

I just started coming to this facility, and I really like it!I've only had the pleasure of meeting my PCP doctor once, but can tell she's a very good doctor, takes the time to listen and ask questions & was just an easy person to talk to and open up with. I had a broken foot so she ended up putting in an (expedited) referral to see the foot specialist, which just so happened to be located on the second floor! The very next day the referral was approved and the podiatrist office (foot doctor) was calling me to set up an appointment for THAT following day... Super fast! I've seen the podiatrist a handful of times since then, and he's a really cool guy as well! Communicates well and definitely has your best interest at heart! Pretty funny guy too!I've also gotten my blood taken here per my doctor's request, and have had several foot x-rays done here as well, I love that everything is located in ONE building!!The building isn't even super huge either! so it's easy to navigate around. They even have an ER!Plus I've noticed that they're hardly ever busy! It's pretty much empty every time I've come! wait times are no longer than 10 minutes at the most. My last appointment I was 30 minutes early and they were able to get me in right away!Just seems to good to be true lol.Friendly staff, clean facility, so grateful to have Dr Raju (her nickname) as my PCP and BFMC as my doctors office. -The end.

When my Dr gives me an order to get blood work done, this is where I go. The staff is nice, quick, and efficient. I'm in and out with no hassles. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you to the staff for always making me feel welcomed and comfortable. Two thumbs up.

We were visiting another business next door and my daughter began to choke in the parking lot. While I was helping her, they saw us out of the window and next thing I knew, I had MAs, LVNs, two RNs and an NP rushing towards us with a vitals machine, oxygen, an AED, etc. 10 people rushed out to us to help. We took my daughter immediately inside and had her checked out. Everyone was kind, helpful, and concerned. Would definitely come back if we needed it.

Went in earlier in the week and experience went smoothly. My wife took my son tonight close to closing and they stated our insurance portal was down, and to try another Urgent care. I tried to call the office as I can access my insurance through mobile and was sent to after hours voicemail 30 minutes prior to closing. Turned away a sick toddler to close early on a Sunday night, very unprofessional from the front staff.

While I have had some bad reviews of BFMC urgent care in the past, after my 23 day ordeal, at the BFMC UC, I have to write new review. I got to meet every nurse at the Urgent care. All of them were great. While I can't remember all of their names, Nurse Stacy and Nurse Brad were my typical Nurses. Awesome care, I can't praise them enough. The Nurse Practitioner Mrs. Stewart (aka Nurse Ratched) is also exceptional. She diagnosed my issue correctly on my first visit. My Primary Doctor sent me to a Urologist, a general surgeon, and finally a Dermatologist, to find out Nurse Stewart nailed it on Day 1. I can't recommend her enough. Stellar performance, awesome NP. While I make every effort to avoid the Urgent Care, if I have to return, at least I know there is an incredible staff there to take care of me. Thanks BFMC UC!!!!!

My Girlfriend and I are from out of town and were in Bakersfield for a convention at the fairgrounds. My girlfriend is very susceptible to bad UTIs. She needed immediate medical attention. Bakersfield Family Medical was SO PROFESSIONAL! One of the only places in town, open early on a Sunday at 8:00am. Upon walking in. The waiting room was very clean and tidy. There were plenty of staff at the counter ready to help. Very professional and welcomed us in. They gave us paperwork to fill out and verified her insurance was covered here! Better then sending us a bill months later. They quickly ushered her into a room, checked her vitals and asked simple questions. They got us into another room where the nurse offered us bottles of water while we waited for the physician. Wow! Awesome stuff. Derek Harmon was our Physician Assistant. He was very knowledgeable in UTIs and brought new ideas to the table we hadn't previously considered for avoiding them in the future. He was very through and professional. Explained what he thought was going on in detail and answered all our questions. I can't say anything better about them. We were in and out within 45 minutes. Thank you Bakersfield Medical Center!!!

I went into urgent care about 5 o'clock. today with a cough & ear pain There was really nobody in there. I saw this PA John Michalak. he has bad manners he didn't care about me. I told him that I've been sick for four days and I have lots of phlegm and my ears hurt. He didn't care and then he was thinking I would be forced to do a chest x-ray and I declined then I told an RN who took my vitals. I said I took a Covid test and it was negative so lo and behold they did another Covid test on me and then the x-ray tech came in and said the doctor ordered x-ray. He hasn't even seen me really I'm not having x-rays so then the PA comes in and says you might have pneumonia. I said really well if I do what do you care??? never again I will not go into urgent care. The only people that were nice were the front desk girls.

I have been in here a handful of times throught out the past two or three years and always had great service id like to say thank you to all the people who have assisted me here. Thank you to all the staff for great customer service and attention to detail

Two visits within one month. Staff is excellent. Considerate and caring. They kept things moving and they cared for me with expediency and efficiency. I won't hesitate to return if I need Urgent Care.
