Recently the team at Fiat of Bakersfield helped me find a great car for a great price. They definitely went above and beyond for me and my family and I drove out of there happy as can be with my brand, spanking new, Fiat 500L. David, our sales representative, was able to give me all the information and knowledge he had on this car and answer every question I had. As a new car buyer of only 19, I am very grateful with the whole team that was involved in my car purchasing process. From David, to the people in finance, the detail team who had my car nicely cleaned for me to drive off in the shiniest, cleanest car that day, to the General Manager Alex K who made me feel like family and made sure I left as a happy customer to return in the future with a family of my own ready for a bigger better for the whole family. I definitely recommend Fiat of Bakersfield and Bakersfield Chrysler Jeep to everyone who is interested in great cars, great prices, and great customer service; this is the place to be. And let me just say, my Fiat 500L is a LOT more spacious and roomy than it looks. This car has already been to the beach with me and that is only the beginning. This car and I will be together for a very long time and I look forward to go back to that dealer in the future for my next car.

I have a 23 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE and it's the most absolute worst car I've ever owned. It's had at least 4 recalls in 2 years, gas cap wouldn't open for 2 days on the weekend, one recall advised against charging my car for months for fear of setting a fire which defeated the purpose of having an electric car and saving money on gas. The tire sensors are so unstable that I have to constantly air them up because any change in weather messes up the pressure. One incident that I'm lucky nothing happened to my kids and I, while driving on a busy road with flow of traffic, my car just turned off while going up hill. Thankfully I was able to pull over safely and start it back up. It wasn't a dead battery issue it was a hybrid/electric issue but the heck it just seriously turned off. I have taken my Jeep back to the dealer for recalls and twice to tell them how bad the car is and to please fix it. Now this last incident. They can't fix it because it's a software update that the manufacturer has been working on since November. Local Jeep dealer gave it back to me and pretty much said Good luck. I have asked for loaner cars until it's fixed but there are never any available. I am stuck with this Jeep for another year because of a lease. My car payment isn't cheap and it's not fair I am paying for a car that is defective. I don't feel it's safe and will Be reaching out to Corporate. I tried getting the local Jeep to get me out of my lease but the couldn't. If something happens to me or my kids while driving a defective car it will cost Jeep more than just taking my car back. I am reaching out to Jeep Corporate and an attorney. And if those don't work then the News Media is next. I have always wanted a Jeep and I know there are good Jeeps out there but the lack of help I am getting is enough for me to never want or recommend a Jeep again.

In the vehicle service department the customer service here is pretty bad. And the communication is terrible. I dropped off my vehicle on a Monday. And they never told me what was wrong with the vehicle until Friday. That's after leaving multiple messages everyday trying to find out the status of my vehicle and I never received a call back. And they didn't tell me till Friday almost closing time that they had to keep it over the weekend . Also they lend me a loaner which was leaking air. And they charge $25 a day which doesn't state anywhere on there contract. If you can avoid this a place that would be the best thing. Also this is the second time I posted my review. Funny that they took my last one down.

Where to begin, this has to be the worst most expensive and most aggravating car repair experience I've ever had to deal with. On Sunday October 3rd my 2015 Fiat suddenly lost power on the way to work and the check engine light started flashing, immediately pulled over and had the vehicle towed to the dealer. I have the extended warranty "Max Care" . Monday the 4th I had to call them to make sure they received my car, I heard nothing back from them as they needed to diagnose my issue, fine that takes time Wednesday I called back as I still hadn't heard anything was informed "Manny" was handling the situation. Friday still no call from Manny so I called back again, was told Manny wasn't in and the tech working on it had gone home for the week, but Leticia would call me and get to the bottom of the issue. Monday afternoon still no call so I called back no Manny no Leticia, but now informed that they do not "do warranty work" even though I had them do warranty work on the same car in the past they no longer are a participating provider so unless I want to cash pay they will not work on my car! Ended up having to have the car towed 146 miles away to a participating provider at a cost of over $415! Had I known they would not honor their contact I would have never brought it there in the first place! They had it for 8 days not once did they contact me and when I pressed them on the poor communication they claimed to have been texting me......to a landline! I met the tow truck at the receiving dealership only to find 20 miles added onto my cars odometer and the car covered in dirt and mud as if they had been driving it in a dirt field, I am looking into what other recourse I have available because this is unacceptable

I went In for an oil change during the midweek and midday and was surprised to find no line and no waiting! Erick, the attendant was very helpful and friendly. My only negative is that Fiat of San Luis Obispo would also wash the exterior of my car for free, too. It was a great perk that garnered my loyalty. Fiat of Bakersfield should consider something similar.

Went in just looking at electric cars and drove out in a new 500e. With dealer incentive, state and local incentives and the savings in gas we are literally being paid to drive this car. Juan Mendez did a great job letting us know about all the incentives in a friendly and relaxed way without being pushy at all. As always Joe Mays in finance did not disappoint. Not only would I recommend this dealership I already have.

Took my fiat 500L for recall. Left with check engine light on. Nothing was wrong when i took it there. Just needed reflash computer. Said this was my fault. It would cost to fix it. Service technician could not have performed maintenance any checks or would have seen check engine light was on. Technician Signed off saying my car was good to go. All service checks listed on my reciept. No check engine light reported. Still my fault when I started the car. Said I would have to wait a couple of hours to find problem and fix. I live 4 hour roundtrip to get there and back. Again left with messed up car. Called an talked to service manager who offered to make a car payment to make this up to me. You think a car payment is gonna fix my car? They should have offered to pick this car up and take it back to fix it and return it. Really a car payment!! This was outlandish and the most absolute worst service I have ever encountered. You are lucky to get one star and I still have a broken car. Just terrible. You should be ashamed of the dealership.

As I said previously, our buying experience was topnotch. However, I must now report on their service department. I bought a Fiat Abarth on August 4th and I just want to warn people out there of one important thing about buying a brand new car at Fiat Bakersfield. DO NOT DRIVE OFF THE LOT WITHOUT GETTING THE CAR DETAILED! We bought the car, was promised all kinds of service and got nothing. We still have not received our promised detailing. We have a tire that goes flat constantly, a piece of trim falling ...off, no valve stem caps, and scratches. I finally got someone at the service dept. to look at the tire and they told me (remember, this is a brand new car!!), "You'll have to take it to a tire repair shop to find out why it's leaking". Say what?! We are very disappointed after having such a great buying experience with two terrific salesmen. We also never could find out about the racecar meeting they were promising us!

I realize labor and parts are in short supply these days due to Covid, but I just dropped my car off for service then was told that the policy is 24-48 hours just to diagnose the problem. That does not include the repair time. I think that the policy should be noted when making the appt. I could have made arrangements to rent a car if I had known.

Sold me a piece of crap Fiat! The salesman lied on every question I asked him:Lied about gas mileage.Lied about gas octane.Lied about how cheap the insurance was.Lied about how cheap it was to maintain. Lied about how reliable they were.Lies lies lies! They treat you like a queen until you sign the papers then treat you like and idiot if you have a problem with the crappy car.The service department blamed me for the problems I was having....told me it was my fault if I didn't start it every 2-3 days. I went on a two week vacation and came home to a dead car that wouldn't start even when road service tried to start it...towed it in and the service guy said it was my fault that I didn't have someone start it every 2-3 days. WTF? Told me it's in the owners manual to start it every 2-3 days. Wanted to charge me $135 to start it. He never could show me in the owners manual where it said that.....then he made me feel like I was an idiot for buying the car. His words: "these cars are very temperamental".The car broke down on me several times and had to be towed in 3 times for not starting. These cars have horrible resale value and I finally sold it for a huge loss! Took me forever to get a refund on my extended warranty.....they blamed the warranty department and passed the buck.Thank God I sold the Fiat and never have to step foot in this dealership ever again!Update: one of my big complaints was the car would stall on me as I took off from a stop sign or red light.....the service manager acted like I was absolutely crazy....well, last week I got a recall for Fiats stalling and losing power! Ha! Who's the crazy one now! I'd already sold my car! The most horrible service department I've ever dealt with.
