I called to have service to my home to check my dryer, it wasnt heating and just lost warranty. Being a new LG DRYER I called Bakersfield Appliance and asked if they could accommodate my needs. They said of course and sent someone out. I was working of course being a mother of 4, and appointment was 12 to 3. Having a adult child, no problem! The guy came out, said it was heating element and I said cool, oh by the way. Washer leaking, can you check that? Hes says no problem! When he called to tell me the 2 parts needed, I said no worries just please fix, so sorry busy at work do whatever! I call when I get home, hes busy on another job, I ask so what's the cost? He said I dont knoe yet. I have to do a estimate! Which I have always had people give me estimate before they leave job. I said ok, just please fix! Now Monday evening, no call from anyone and try to contact, worker and company! Their response in the end... i can only get one part, which is the dryer, which is what was originally sent out for. But not the other, and now the worker is mad, cause I'm mad! Now he is not coming to fix! Dispatch (Maria) said I need to slpatly another person to come check problem. So I asked for refund, and she said the worker has to do it! His reward take me to small claims court! This is definitely not over!!

Do not use this company. They never showed up. They must have recognized my number because they wouldn't answering the phone. When the technician called after hours he didn't act like they had done anything wrong at all? It's a complete joke.

We had them come out on 7/18/15 they said they needed to order the part. I called them weekly they tell me they will call me back and they never do. I am out $165 and still do not have my fridge fixed 8/17/15.

I was excited to call and make an appointment with a company that had a high rating. However, these guys didn't even show up or bother to call and re-schedule. They gave me a 3 hour time frame for them to show, and like a dummy i waited and waited and literally wasted 3 hours of my life. This would be a whole different experience if they had just called and stated they would be late or fell behind and would re-schedule. Any company that can't even pick up a phone and keep you potential customers in the loop so they can go about their day is one I will NEVER call or recommend. Wasting my time is on my top 5 pep peeves list.

Bakersfield Appliances 661 900-8455 charged me $65,00 for a service call about 3 weeks ago but after several calls saying he would be here the next day and always a no-show, I give up !!!!! Beware , he only want cash for initial call and never returns !!!!!!!

If I could give this a ZERO rating, I would! Their repair man came out and was supposed to service my dryer and diagnose the problem. Let me state that he was over an hour late. When I showed him the video of the noise it was making he had a look on his face like he had no clue why it was making that sound. It was not until I gave him more verbal description of what was going on that he said "Oh, I think I know what it could be." It was not until then that he decided to take the bottom panel off the dryer. When he discovered it was in fact the blower wheel that was broken, he said that he did not have the part in stock and would have to order it. He said many time how much of a "headache" it would be to replace the blower wheel. He asked if we still wanted it fixed. Of course we told him. He said it would be $65 that night and the rest would be due after he fixes the dryer. The estimated total would be $175. I said okay. He never called the next day. So I waited a day longer to call him back on his personal cell phone in which he had previously called me on the night he came to check the dryer. He said the part was going to be hard to get. He said they may have to order from factory because they did not have it in stock in the warehouse, but he said he would check to see if he could order from another place. He said he would call me the next day. Still no call from him, so I waited another day and when he still had not called, I called him. He said that time the part had been ordered and it would be 2-3 days until the part was in. He said he would call when he had the part. He also told me that the price was going to be $265 now to fix it when he had previously quoted me $175. He said the part was going to be $85 and the rest would be for labor. So after 2 days I had not heard from him so I called to touch base about the part. He said it still was not in that it had been delayed and he was expecting it Friday or Saturday and would call me to set up an appointment when he got it. The entire weekend went by and I did not hear from him. So come Monday I called him and he said that there was a problem getting the part. That he would have to order it from factory and it would take 1-2 weeks to receive the part. Once again he said he would call me with updates on the order. It has been well over 2 weeks and I still have not heard a peep from him. In the mean time I found a place in Los Angeles that I ordered the exact part from for $47 that includes the overnight FedEx delivery. So needless to say that this man was very unprofessional, I never did catch his name. His English was very broken and his phone number began with 900-####. I do not know if he even documented with the company that he showed up and looked at my dryer. I paid $65 for him to check it and service it and all he did was check it. He was supposed to complete the service when he returned to fix it and that never happened. But if little Ol' me that does not have connections and not in the appliance servicing business can order the exact part that was needed and get it overnight and he cannot even get the part, shows me that he just blew me off and ran with my money that he got for doing nothing. Never ever ever use this company if they are going to send that exact repair man. I am very dissatisfied!

Called about an oven issue and they did come out the same day, within the two hour window, diagnosed the problem, but said they did not have the needed part. Would be $190. Tech said he would check inventory and call me in the morning. No call. Had to call several times, finally showed and made the repairs, but an hour and half late. Ovens seems to work well now, left area clean and billed the quoted amount.

If possible, I would give a negative rating... I called them out to check my refrigerator. They came out for the service call charging $55.00. They stated if I used them for the repairs they would credit me back the service/diagnostic fee. The repair tech called me the same day after 5:00pm stating that the issue with the refrigerator was that all the water lines needed to be replaced for the water dispenser to work. I said okay since it sounded like a tedious job. I was quoted $220 for the job minus the $55. When they arrived at my home, they pulled out the water valve solenoid to replace. I asked if they were changing the water lines, tech stated no that was not the problem. I told him that he told me it was the water lines and he began to argue with me. This job took a whole 5 minutes for a $56.99 part. I was very upset because they were dishonest on what the problem was. I tried calling the office to speak to a manager and he in no where to be found. I would definitely NOT use this business for any repairs for the mere fact that they are very dishonest and charge a ridiculous amount for repairs. In addition, they do not care how the customer feels all they want is their money.
