I hav ordered materials from B&B for years.It's just the best place to buy steel I have found in town. The service is good and they deliver!

We stopped by to get some metal for my son to practice his welding. The process was straightforward--you go to the counter to let them know what you need, then head out back to pick out whatever you want. Once you've selected the metal, you place it on a scale, then head back inside to pay.1/28/25

My dad and I have been working on a few small projects around my property and we have needed to purchase sheet metal from B&B twice in the last two months. On both occasions, we have been treated with professionalism and respect despite being a couple of weekend warrior amateur types buying relatively small amounts of product.Don't be intimidated- this bustling steel yard is well suited for the hobbyist as well as the industry professional.

Came in here few times over the last month and had great results each time. I wasn't quite sure exactly the sizing I needed in flat bar at the time and I was able to go out and look for exactly what I needed. They cut the dimensions I needed and brought directly to my car out front. Process was super easy, very efficient and pricing was great. Staff was very helpful across the board. Stop going to places like your big box hardware stores when you have these guys right here and beat their prices too with tons of stock and sizing to choose from.

I live in Taft and thankfully B&B delivers to my house for FREE. They ask orders to be at least $100, which is totally reasonable, and their driver is awesome. Not having transportation is a pain in the butt, but they make my welding life possible. With a surge in both gas and metal pricing over the past year, they are no contest. I had 1 or 2 small discrepancies over the many orders I have placed and they always correct them immediately or the next day. Quality materials, quality service, quality company that truly cares about its customers. thank you, B&B for being awesome. I order from them frequently for metal. My small business does some fabrication. Price-wise, they are ok. Service is great but then again - i'm a little more versed in the industry talk so communications is easier. The best thing about them is they have a really good selection of materials

I did not have to chance to deal with this metal vendor as much as others but they were always great with service and price. When you shop around you discover who is giving you the best price and on which items. B & B Surplus is very competitve on price and thier service was always top notch.B & B Surplus sells Angle iron, square tubing, plate, beam, chanel, pipe, sheets of metal in various thickness, length and height. Additionally they items like I-beam, rebar and expanded metal. They sell a variety of aluminum, stainless steel and other products.

I hate to say, but I hope management takes note. I build things on occasion and the some people here always seem so put off by me buying a stick of 1" or a lock box. I think I've dealt with 5 or 6 of them, never friendly. A monotonous job for sure, but I'm not your enemy. I just need a little steel.

Whether you need a bunch of steel, for a big project , or just some remnants to modify existing structures/machines, this place gives good service. The will do custom cuts too,and the custom cuts while not free are very accurate and with thier big cutting machines,it is much cheaper than me paying my labor.The area up by the office has rack upon rack of remnants that are placed onto the scale and sold by the pound. They are usually a good value. I work in the area and have been dealing with B&B for at least 12 years. I would recommend them for your industrial metal needs.

Shorted my delivery load by 20% ( about $350 ) Was supposed to be delivered in the am - showed up at 5pm. On me to not catch it at that time. But trying to get out , I relied on them doing there job correctly ! Again - on me With a couple short calls - B an B left it 100% on me. Thanks for customer support
