Azteca Mexican Restaurant

This was our first time eating here. We met family from out of town. This place is not a looker for sure. Inside is much better. There was 8 of us in our party and we were seated right away. This menu is quite large and took us awhile to figure out what we wanted. Food was decent, but we probably wouldn't return due to the location. Our server was nice and kept drinks refilled. The bathroom left something to be desired. Not clean and very tiny.I just talked to my family that came out of town to meet us there. They all had sour stomachs on their long drive home. My cousin said the reason he rushed to the restroom the chicken in the tacos were dry and stringy. He was choking. He also mentioned bathroom was gross. My original pick was Yard house in Palmdale should have stuck with that.

This truly is a hidden gem! This is a family owned business! They have several locations! The recipes have been around for generations! Ask Brian! He will tell you the complete Family History! I had the #13, which was a Chicken Taco/Tamale combination served with delicious rice and beans. We will be back to experience the Churro stuffed with strawberries!!!!

Love this place and glad to be back. We enjoyed the guacamole to start with along with their homemade salsa, one of my favorites in the AV. A couple horchatas to drink set the scene, and then we ordered salad with extra blue cheese dressing. I think I taste some dill in there, but whatever, Mr. Picky loves it. I'm repeating my order of last week with the deep fried snapper, ugly-looking but tasty :-), while he's trying the fried shrimp for the first time and loving it. I know we will finish with the homemade flan because we really love the flavor of their version.Another great meal!

Good food, authentic taste. Beans are delicious. Lots of menu offerings - carnitas is my go-to, but their asada, lengua, and pollo are good also. Can't wait to try their pozole verde

Went to visit antelope valley California poppy reserve state park and yelped few restaurants, this place was like 10min drive from the flower place so we thought to give it a try. We were right!!! This place was hidden gem! It looked quiet from outside but when you enter you know you are at the right place! Food were great, service was nice!! I really loved their habanero sauce! It was Highly recommended!! I

Vegetarians and vegans can't eat here. Everything fried in lard including chips. I'm this day and age you would think there would be some options but there are none except salad.

A diamond in the rough!! On the way back to Palmdale from Tehachapi the boyfriend and I decided to stop here and boy am I glad we did! Restaurant is clean and organized with plenty of tables. Service was excellent! Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious. Chips and salsa were tasty. I got the Molcajete and although it didn't come in a Molcajete it was still BOMB! The bf got a burrito and he said it was very good! This restaurant is located in an unusual spot and looks intimidating from the outside but don't let that stop you if you want to have an excellent meal and a great experience!

Yummy food and friendly service! The patio was warm, cheerful and clean. All servers wore masks, and social distancing was observed. We had a wonderful time and will be back soon!

Food was amazing. The staff is so friendly and lovely. 10/10 I couldn't recommend this place more.

Exterior is deceiving. Give this place a shot. Authentic Mexican food is on point, they never miss a beat. Joey, Rafa, and Gabby are our regular servers and are so attentive. Drinks never get to the bottom. They are visibly always available, whether helping another table or rounding and asking if your table needs anything. Have never been disappointed here. But please, if your going to be an asshole, stay away and leave this nice place to those of us who appreciate it. Thank you for the great food and service, Azteca.
