Good people! I was very pleased with the work that was done. They replaced my oem stereo system with a new Kenwood system.

Great experience with Auto Sounds. The guys were great, work was great and total experience was 10/10. Worked on our 67 El Camino and could not be happier with the work they did.

The behavior and attitude of Kenny is disgusting. i dropped my car off at 9 AM. I let him know quite a few times i needed my car by 5 o'clock to pick up my kids. Having my car ready by 5 was not too much to ask since my car had been there since 9am. I called Kenny throughout the day to let him know i need my car by 5. he kept telling me it would be ready at 6. Kenny kept telling me he only had one employee working. That's not my problem. I had the appointment for my car for weeks. When i walked in to pick up my car about 515 IT STILL WASNT DONE! Now i had to pay someone to go across town and pick my kids up because this shop REFUSED to gave my car done by 5 o'clock. which was a reasonable request since they had my car sine 9AM!!!!!!!! All the same cars that were in the back when I dropped my car off in the morning were the same exact cars that were there when i picked the car up. Wanted to charge me $275 to install subs when everything was already apart to install a new indash. While in the store I can hear Kenny scheduling appointments for more people when he can't even get the work done in a timely fashion. Kenny and his employees bad mouth every stereo shop in Bakersfield saying they are the best and no other shop does anything right according to them. BEWARE OF THIS SHOP!

So I brought my car into this place about a week and a half ago and let me tell you I don't recommend any one go here at all they melted the plastic in my trunk and didn't replace it plus I spent over $1100 with them to still have the same problems that I had when I went in because instead of fixin my problem they just up sold me on new stuff that still is giving me problems smfh don't go auto sounds of Bakersfield

I used to work here for Kenny and Andy for over 10 years. This place is the real deal. They do not ever cut corners and will always spend the extra time with you.

While on an RV vacation this summer we developed an electrical issue involving our turn indicators/brake lights. After having it in FIVE different repair facilities racking up 12 hours of diagnostics without a fix, we took it to Auto Sounds on the outside chance the sound system they installed a year ago might somehow be the cause. It wasn't, but thanks to the perseverance and dedication of Andy, he found the problem and had us back on the road in 3 hours. So, after over 6 months without our motorhome due to this issue, we're finally able to use our RV! I cannot express my complete and total satisfaction with Auto Sounds. I will surely be going back and will be letting everyone I know how great my service was with them. 10 STARS+!!!!!!

If I can rate this place 0 stars I definitely would , pleased with the kind gentleman of the front , but most definitely CANNOT say the same about kenny. Worst customer service, very bad attitude, and plain out needs to drink a coffee , to start he's day off right .. overall don't come here if you're in need of service, waste of time, money, and breath.

I've been going to Autosounds since high school. From alarms to spotlights, if you can install on a vehicle they've probably done it for me. I had a set of Roadwire seats installed in my 2005 Z71. They are way nicer than the OEM leather seat covers that came out. I went with the stock base dark gray with black suede inserts. Wow! What a difference. Like a new truck. Andy did a fantastic job installing these covers. If you're looking for better than OEM seat replacements, look no further. Terry, Kenny and Andy will hook you up, they always have for me.I forgot to mention they also installed a new alarm in the truck. The old one they installed previously only lasted 15 years! Lol, would've lasted longer if I hadn't cut the wrong wire. The new one works better, modern options, push to start, super cool, etc. Andy also cleaned up some of my mess under the dash, thanks! He always goes above and beyond when doing any work for me or the company.

They have always done a great job for me. No B.S., fair prices and quality work.

These guys are a Bakersfield tradition. They have been helping me with my car radio projects since high school. They have installed systems in every one of my kids' cars/trucks and even gave a little boost to the sound in my work truck. They do great custom work and it's always done right. I highly recommend them because they are honest in pricing and dependable in their work.
