Aunt Mae's Sweet Tooth

Being close to Christmas time, I thought I would give a shout out to the maker of one of my favorite toffee makers around. Aunt Mae's Sweet Tooth!!! Had the pleasure of trying their homemade English Toffee at a Yelp event a couple of years ago.The toffee was creamy, buttery, sweet yumminess!! I stepped into this boutique to buy a candy gift for a friend and it was like stepping into another world. The staff is super nice and helpful. Yes, I found what I was looking for and the gift was even wrapped for; but, so many beautiful and unique items were everywhere. If I wasn't in a hurry I could have easily spent hours looking at everything! Yes, I'll be back!

The English Toffee is the Greatest!!! My Boss buys it for the office every year for Christmas. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

New address now at 830 18th Street, Bakersfield, CA. Visited today and it was hard to choose what to get as it was all delicious. Congratulations to the Anich Family.

This treat has three elements, the toffee, the chocolate and the nuts. The toffee is crisp and crackly at first bite, then instantly melts into buttery yumness. It comes in either milk or dark chocolate; the milk chocolate smooth and silky, the dark semisweet and top notch. The chopped nuts are firm, mildly flavorful and the ideal accent to the other components. There just isn't a better English Toffee, it's even better than See's.
