Aroma of India

OMG, so there are so many amazing Indian restaurants in town to choose from. As usual me and my wife used Yelp to find this little gem. We arrived around 6pm on the Thursday. The restaurant was totally empty which kind of made us wonder if the reviews were real. The young lady that greeted us as we walked in was super friendly. She gave us a couple of minutes to look at the menu and took our drink order. So to me it seems this may be a different region in India as far as food. Although some of the items were typical there were a few I hadn't recognized.So we started off with a samosa which was super flavorful. Nice crunch on the outside and super moist on the inside. The came with the 2 sauces that added even more flavor to the samosa and a little heat as well.I order the Chicken Ulavacharu Biryani. Something I have never tasted before. The spice level we ordered was medium. This dish was huge. Loaded in tender chunks of chicken with a few peppers and a awesome sauce. This had the perfect amount of heat. This had an explosion of flavors. Leftovers were absolutely awesome the next day. The dessert we ordered was delicious. Strawberry ice cream with homemade condensed milk and strawberry jam. It also had pistachios and something a little weird for us was noodles. Super refreshing after that killer spice. We will definitely be back to try more of their creations.Oh the garlic naan was outstanding!!!

We were so excited to try this place after finding it on Yelp. Unfortunately there were some logistical issues that prevented that from happening. We get there and stand at the opening surveying the inside. There are a few tables with customers. Good start. We stand there watching the two waitresses walk back and forth from the kitchen to the counter preparing what looks like to go orders. I wait about four minutes before I flag one down to ask if we seat ourselves or should we wait for them to seat us. She looks overwhelmed and slightly confused and tells us to wait for them to clean a table after confirming it's just the two of us. One of the girls wiped down a table and told us to have a seat there. We had to grab on own menus and show ourselves over. The table they just cleaned was a black granite and unfortunately stilled looked dirty and a little greasy. They should consider using clean rags and water. This was all fine, because the food smelled amazing and we were hungry. We were at our table for about five minutes without being helped or acknowledged when a larger group of Indian men and women sit down next to us. We were friends in waiting as neither of the waitresses came over to serve either table. There were two men from the table who took the initiative and walked over to a third girl, who wasn't dressed like a waitress, that started taking their order. That was it for us. Fifteen minutes of waiting and feeling like we weren't really wanted there was enough. We decided to walk out at that point. No one tried to stop us.We would have been more understanding if the place was packed but less than half the tables had people at them. This first impression has ended the desire I had to try this place.For those of you who have better luck than we did, the food did smell amazing and the prices were very reasonable. That is why they still get two stars.

My wife and I came to check this place out today for the first time. As avid lovers of Indian cuisine and having a new place open up so close to home we just had to try it. And it did not disappoint! We started off with Samosas for appetizers which we both enjoyed especially with the green sauce. For our main courses I ordered the Chicken Vindaloo and my wife got the Goat curry. And of course you got to get some Naan so we also ordered some of their Garlic Naan!What I always love and enjoy the most about Indian food is the endless amount of flavors in all of the dishes. And here was no exception. The aroma, no pun intended, the atmosphere, the flavors all lined up for a very wonderful and unique experience! We both agreed we will definitely both be coming back! Also, important to add in that the server we had was very nice and top of everything always checking on us as well as the gentleman I believe to be one of the owners was super nice and welcoming to us. We really appreciated the great service.

The service was great! Our server was really nice and recommended some of her favorites since we wanted to go outside our comfort zone. We ordered chicken 65 medium heat (her recommendation) as an appetizer, then got the butter chicken curry mild, pachi mirchi chicken biryani medium heat (her recommendation), and 2 orders of the garlic naan. Everything smelled and tasted amazing! We really liked that she offered selections based on what we thought we'd like and she explained what they had. We'll definitely be back.

AUTHENTIC Indian food and incredibly delicious! The food was AMAZING and the service was FANTASTIC! One of our new favorites! You simply must visit and try all of their delicacies. The service was wonderful and the environment was very comfortable. 5 stars all around!

It's pretty authentic. Try the "street food" side of the menu. Ask questions. Unless you are a native, you will see things you may not know anything about. Good learning experience!

We are visiting from out of town and have never had South Indian. Everything was amazing and the service was excellent. We have both the goat & lamb biryani, samosas, paneer tikka, and desserts. So much food, everything was delicious. I highly recommend.

Such great food!! Wow!! We will most definitely be back. Amazing flavor! We got the Dal and Lamb both were incredible! And the owner was so nice!

Food is phenomenal! The owner Sam is very kind and attentive. Our server Tisha was so sweet and helpful. But the best part was the food of course! Highly recommend to anyone in the area!!
