The worst service and bartender I have ever had. The bar tender judged me before I even ordered my drink because she didn't know me on a first name basis. She said that I only could order one drink because she thought I was to "buzzed" but I watched her give drinks to people that could hardly walk or talk but because they are regulars that was ok. mind you I have lived in this town for 15 plus years but since I tend to cut my hair and dress like I dont fuck member of my family I was treated like shit. Fuck that place save your money and go to Kernville

Stiff drinks, strong attitudes and questionable characters. All the ingredients needed for the perfect dive bar. I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

Nightlife in the Kern River Valley is worse than dismal. There are at least 8 saloons, including Sportman's Inn, Slugger's, Shady Lane, Arlie's Club, The Hut, and Kern River Saloon. At The Hideaway, female patrons thought to be young and attractive must turn in their driver's license to the bartender, and may only get it back when they leave. At The Lode, weekend bartenders enforce a very unique state law that says patrons must buy a drink in order to remain on the premises. Believe it or not, ALL these smelly dumps still flip their middle fingers at California's anti-smoking laws in public establishments. In the Kern River Valley, wheezy smokers are as common in bars, lodges and veterans' halls as flies on road kill. Expect depressing, ancient joints that smell like a gas station urinal in East L.A. and look like they're straight out of a John Steinbeck novel.

What should I say about Arlie's? How about, it's the best throwback, hole in the wall, dive bar around. They have an awesome karaoke night. The drinks are stiff. And they don't care if you smoke. Not to mention the caliber of the local population that frequents this lovely establishment. A Friday night looks like a scene straight out of "Deliverance". It's so incredibly bad and good at the same time that it's almost unreal. It's located on Lake Isabella Blvd. and Erskine Creek Rd. If you are in the area and looking for a fun time stop by Arlie's. It is what ever you make of it.

STRONG drinks with a great atmosphere. Lookout for runaway Hoverounds and second hand smoke.

Arkie's ambiance is a true old time honky-tonk type bar. It's NOT for those barely over 21looking for Appletinis or Kale smoothies with a shot of liqueur in them. An Arlie's evening is like traveling back in time right and stepping out in your favorite country song. The prices are on the low end and the patrons know each other by name. Expect to wait a bit to sing on Karaoke night as the rotation can be quite lengthy. With the right attitude, you're sure to have a memorable experience.

Very rustic atmosphere. Karaoke is what it is. Some good, some bad. Overall nice place to go to spend an evening. Staff was friendly. Cash only, makes it a little inconvenient.

Karaoke was mediocre, pool tables were too close to the walls to provide decent games. Pool sticks were pretty defective.Overall, for a town that has absolutely NO entertainment, this is an OK place, so long as the elderly lady running the Karaoke keeps her mouth shut

Great place if you want to kick it with the friendly locals of Lake Isabella. They'll keep pouring them strong all night. Don't expect not to breathe in second hand smoke in there or at any of Kern Valley's drinking establishments, for that matter. First place I've seen that serves cans of Beer, too. Arlie's is one awesome, booze-soaked time capsule. If you're there on the weekend, be prepared to do some Karaoke.

Friendly atmosphere & staff. And good drinks. No craft cocktails or cocktail menu though.
