My kitchenAid microwave was acting up and would only stay on for three seconds at a time. Felipe showed up on time and got to work and had the part replaced and out the door in less than 30 minutes. He was very friendly and gave us great service. I highly recommend this company and Felipe.

Made my appointment a week in advance from between 8-12. All week long they kept confirming my appointment at the right time. On the day before they give me an automated call to confirm my appointment at the wrong time and you can only confirm. They charge $145 just to come out, $187 for 45 minutes of labor and $176 for a capacitor. Total came out to be more than a new washing machine.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my elderly mom who just called me, raving about this service appointment. My mom purchased a Maytag washer two months that has given her problems from the start. (The washer shakes violently and will move several inches during a spin cycle.) Maytag sent a repair technician from a different company who was condescending and entirely unhelpful. (He even told us he wouldn't have bought this particular machine!) I requested a second appointment through a different company and we were connected to Appliance Repair Specialist. Although we had to wait about two weeks for an appointment, we are thrilled with their service.First, they provide great communications: sending both emails and text to confirm the appointment and provide a specific arrival time the day before. I also apprecidated that the email confirmation included a photo and name of the technician coming to our home. We also received an update text when our technician was about ten minutes away.Jim arrived promptly at the beginning of the arrival window and my mother just felt super respected and helped by him. Her English language skills are not the strongest, but he was incredibly patient, taking the time to explain the machine and how it's made as well as provide recommendations for how to run it better. As soon as Jim left, my mom called me just glowing about the appointment. I can't be at these appointments because don't live nearby my mom so I'm always nervous about how these they will go because I know she might struggle communicating the issue. Based on her description of Jim's approach, I just feel very grateful to him for being so respectful of her and demonstrating his professionalism.

TRAINWRECK! Scheduled and got confirmation of an appointment for this morning from between 8am-12pm. I decided to call to narrow down the window only to be told they don't work today (only every other Monday) BUT NOT THE ONE I TOOK OFF WORK TO DEAL WITH, THE CONFIRMED APPT FOR THIS MORNING. Got the run-a-round from the call center attendant and he refused to connect me to a superior (as no-one was in the office but him). Then while addressing this with KitchenAid/Maytag ... etc., 'all the same junk' and after 1.5 hours on the phone, they had ZERO records of my calls and stated concerns. THEY, both of them will get a bill from me and multiple reviews.Even worse! Maytag customer service took it upon themselves to schedule an appointment for tomorrow WHICH I DID NOT ASK FOR with the same repair facility.

had a frustrating experience with Central Valley Appliance (also known as Appliance Repair Specialists). I called them for warranty work on my Bosch dishwasher, which is covered under Bosch's warranty, and they charged me over $150 just for the service call.When the technician arrived, I asked a few questions to understand if the issue was common with Bosch dishwashers or an isolated problem. He was unhelpful and made it seem like I was bothering him with my questions.After paying and having him leave, I didn't hear from the company for over a week. I called multiple times, but the staff seemed unorganized and didn't have any record of my case. I also contacted Bosch directly 5 or 6 times, and they sent the authorization each time while I was on the phone with them. Despite that, Central Valley Appliance kept saying they couldn't find it, and one person even mentioned they rarely check email.Eventually, I reached out to another company that came right away, diagnosed the issue, and ordered the necessary parts to fix it.Nearly two weeks later, Central Valley Appliance (1 star on Yelp) / Appliance Repair Specialists (2 stars on Yelp) randomly showed up at my house. I was tired of washing dishes, so I let the technician in. He was in and out in less than 15 minutes, didn't test anything, and left. My dishwasher ended up showing more error codes than before, so the issue wasn't resolved.If you're dealing with warranty repairs, I highly recommend informing the manufacturer. Bosch, or any other manufacturer, wouldn't want to associate with a company that provides this level of service. I'm sure they'd reconsider their relationship if they were aware of how unprofessional and unorganized Central Valley Appliance is.After reviewing Yelp, it's clear that their ratings are mostly 1-star or 5-star, which makes me suspect they may be manipulating reviews to achieve a 2-star average. Overall, this company was incredibly disappointing, and I would not recommend them.

The technician arrived and seemed to rush through the inspection. He said he'd fixed the issue, so called "normal sounds" but after he left, the clicking noise was still there.

One of the worst customer service experiences that I have encountered. They say that you will receive calls for scheduling and when the tech is heading to your house but that does not happen. When you finally get to speak with a human and not a computer the human and the computer provide you with completely different information.
