Apple Annie's

My 5 rating is for what this is - an old fashioned family restaurant. If you're looking for an upscale experience, go somewhere else, but this is homestyle food like you used to get.The menu has a fair amount of variety, from breakfast to dinner. I had the grilled chicken taco salad. It was very good, but be forewarned if that's something you might be interested in - there are three different items on the menu that are all similar, and both we and our server all had a little confusion. This is Tulare's long-standing home for comfort food.

If you've ever driven northbound on the 99, then you've likely seen a billboard for Apple Annie's. I've finally found myself making a pit stop at Tulare for lunch. Apple Annie's has a vintage ambiance. There's a couple life size dolls standing around to greet you. They serve both American and Mexican dishes along with a variety of apple desserts. The lunch hour was pretty busy, so the wait time was to be expected. I ordered the chicken marsala along with a side salad. It was cooked perfectly! The mushrooms were soft and thin while the chicken was tender and juicy. I didn't have any room for dessert because my meal was so filling. This is a restaurant that you must try if you're in the area.

Amazing food, great service, and friendly staff. I LOVED stopping by here and the decorations in the restaurant made me feel like I was stepping back into a simpler time. Their blue cheese dressing was delicious and so tasty. Their apple pie is FILLED with apples and is perfect. So happy I stopped by here!

Love this place we come every time we are in the area. Food is amazing. Service is always great.Cozy little home town feeling. Restaurant is right off the freeway. Don't miss the little gift shop when you walk in.

Apple Annie's is a long time restaurant in my hometown. Apple Annies is favorite of locals and convenient for travelers staying at local hotels. We came for breakfast at the request of a family member and I wasn't sure what to expect since I probably hadn't been there for probably 40 years. All I know is that the parking lot is always full every day of the week. The restaurant is clean and in great condition for its age. I decided on the New York Steak and Eggs for my breakfast. Our server was very helpful and patient with our elderly mother. The five meals were served quickly, hot and lacking any sort of flavor. The steaks were tough and the coffee was weak. I probably should have stayed with a breakfast entree. Overall, I enjoyed myself with the fam and the exceptional service. Three Stars for lack of flavor.

Had breakfast here this morning . I had eggs Benedict. It was amazing. The eggs cooked to perfection. Ham was tender. It was very good well done Apple Annie's. The service was awesome. Everyone polite and welcoming. PLUS 5 STARS THIS MORNING.

Food was okay, the waffle was dry, cold, and hard to even cut. As for the omelette, we asked for avocado but it was cooked inside the omelette which we thought was kind of weird since the avocado was hot and a bit slimy due to the warmth. Biscuits and gravy were very good. I honestly would come back and give this place a try again. They had many options and the servers were very nice and attentive to us, so it could have been because they were very busy this morning. The restaurant is pretty big; they have 2 dining areas and a patio area as well. I'm hoping to have better food next time.
