American Kids Sports Center

My nephew has been taking gymnastics from here for a little over 4 years now and I am very pleased to see his growth at American Kids Sports Center. This location is their smaller location but it meets all my expectations. I love the viewing already. You can watch your child practice while sitting and working on other things. Nice big TV in the lobby to watch and the staff is always welcoming/professional. I recommend this business.

I had the best interaction with Whitney when I called to enroll my child last week! She was so helpful and knowledgeable with all the programs. I ended up enrolling into the dance program at the southwest location and my daughter loved her first class and her teacher soooo much! We are excited for this new adventure. Would recommend to all my friends and family.

If you like to be in a sauna this is the place to be. Every time we come to this place is like 82+ degrees in here. And it smells like straight sweat. I've e mailed them before and I have never had a response from them. The prices here are pretty high for us to come and be hot while we wait for our kids.

Came here today for a class field trip and they weren't even ready for the classes. Every child paid 7 dollars for this field trip. There was only 3 people total there . Lady at desk and two guys that scrambled to throw the equipment together for the kids to use , for just 15 mins . They were notified about this weeks prior and a day prior. I am very disappointed in this place. This was my child's first field trip ever and it was 15 mins long because your staff was not ready . I do not recommend this place at all. At least they are returning the money, the least the could do.

The kids "coaches" working there were very unprofessional and not equipped to deal with kids who they deem less than perfect. My son has severe ADHD and Tourette Syndrome and this was discussed with staff beforehand. They assured me it would be ok. But the coaches punished my son for talking by keeping him from the group, making him sit alone in a separate room, and called him names and told him how annoying he is. He became so distressed that he started throwing up from the anxiety of having to go there. I would recommend for "perfect kids" but never for anyone with a disability.

My boys love taking the gymnastics class! I would recommend the gymnastics class to anyone who has children who seem to bounce off the walls!

My daughters (14 & 4) have great experiences at AKSC. They both look forward to their tumbling classes and love the set up of the gym. Many happy memories here too!

We have been nothing but happy since we signed our granddaughter up for gymnastics here. She has some special needs and they have been wonderfully accommodating. Because of this she has made excellent progress. We like the variety of time slots and programs available. She now takes a swimming class along with her gymnastics. The other granddaughters now attend, as well. We are so glad we made the decision to sign them up at American Kids Sports Center.

Instructors spend a majority of the class talking to each other. They don't focus on the children. Very nice equipment and facilities.

Extremely unsatisfied customer! Poor management and poor customer service at this location. Although our child was enrolled for over 6 months and attended weekly on a regular basis, there were weeks that we showed up only to find out there was no teacher assigned to our child's class. The instructor for our child's particular class changed regularly (without notice). Our child's class never started on time and always finished between 8-10 minutes before the designated end time. Class was ended between 8-10 early in order to give children stamps/stickers which is mismanagement of class time that was paid for. Both billing policy and make-up policy for missed sessions and sessions cancelled (due to Holidays) are both unclear and unfair, especially policy regarding make-up sessions. Although paid in full, we were not allowed to makeup sessions owed to us (when classes were cancelled for holidays). When we attempted to get our questions/issue resolved, management was unhelpful and did not care that we would be un-enrolling as a result of the poor management and unclear policies regarding make-up classes. Unfortunate because our child did enjoy the class. Would not recommend this facility to family and friends. Will be traveling to Santa Clarita in order to enroll our child in a facility that we trust to foster our child's passion for gymnastics and we know will appreciate our business.
