Allure Banquet

We just hosted our son's bar mitzvah at Allure this past weekend and could not be happier with the way the evening went. David Hovanesyan (our coordinator from Allure) from the very first meeting was professional, kind, responsive and a true pleasure to work with. The entire staff made sure our evening went off without a hitch. The room looked beautiful. The food was amazing! Our guests kept complimenting every bite. Everything was timed perfectly for the evening. You feel like you are surrounded by staff from start to finish who are there to make sure that any little need is taken care of. David responded to anything we needed from the very first meeting over a year ago. We cannot recommend Allure high enough and look forward to hosting another bar mitzvah there in two years.The Hoffman Family.

Just had my second holiday office party here so I feel a little more empowered to say something of my overall impression of Allure. There is a noticeable amount of effort to make this venue a diamond in the rough and tumble neighborhood it sits in. Of course, the planners at my office have to collaborate with the hall, but the quality of the suite of services and vendors they've offered is what I'll mostly be commenting on.The food was what I was impressed about the first time and it was one of the elements I was looking forward to having again. The office arranged service like a formal wedding dinner: a few appetizers followed by several rounds of entrees. It becomes all you can eat but the initial platters of food are plenty for the 9 or so people seated at a table.My favorite is the chicken fettuccine. Simple, but the breaded chicken in the Alfredo sauce is a pretty good execution for the dish. There's also a grilled beef and chicken course with mashed taters, a fish (tilapia I think) and veggies course and a penne pasta course.There's a stage and a dance floor, with plenty of additional entertainment space for a photo op and games. The two bar stands (one in the foyer and the other in main hall) end up being quite popular. Yes, my second time around, some of the parts that make up the whole did feel a little past their prime, like older serving utensils and little dings in some of the wall paneling - but the place still cleans up nicely. For two years, I've had consistent, hours-long visits that have resulted in a full belly and a handful of out-of-office memories with my colleagues. I'm mostly in gratitude about a local spot that can accommodate our year-end festivities to a sufficiently adequate degree.

Where do I even start?My relationship with Allure spans nearly a decade, going back to when I first worked with their incredible manager, David, on event after event. If you need something done, David is the person to go to--he makes things happen, every single time.From birthdays and anniversaries to baby showers and corporate events, Allure has done it all for me, and the food is always the highlight of the night. Guests rave about it long after each event ends! So when it came time to plan my wedding, there was no one else I'd trust with such an important day--and they did not disappoint.Every detail was flawlessly handled, and my guests never had to wait a moment to be served. The servers--Artur, Kevin, and Vazgen--were amazing, attentive, and made everyone feel like VIPs. They have an incredible range of food options, and everything is always top-notch. As a bride, I felt completely taken care of. David was there, overseeing everything and making sure the event flowed perfectly.Choosing Allure's catering was one of the best decisions I made, and I'll continue to choose them for future events. I know I can rely on them completely, and I couldn't be happier with their work!

Attending the venue for the first time as a guest. It's tucked away off Van Nuys Blvd. Valet parking was available upon arrival. This venue was perfect for the B'nai Mitzvah I was attending. The outside was set up as a lounge area and red carpet. The foyer at entrance was decorated and very contemporary with the design of the mirrors, lighting fixtures and furniture. The bathrooms were very sleek and modern as well. The main ballroom was dual purpose for the religious ceremony and the reception celebration to follow. The lighting fixtures were elegant and the color pallet was very neutral so not distracting to the theme. Wonderful venue staff. Very attentive. Bar staff and table staff were very professional. The catering was delicious.I am considering using this venue for my own future events.

Amazing experience I had my wedding hosted there and hoping to have a my baby shower next

I did my wedding here, I would say me and my family are very disappointed and we have told everyone to avoid this place. The service is garbage, i have been to many restaruants where the servers are everywhere and get you whatever you need fast. One of the chairs of the main bride and groom table. my KAVOR chair was broken. Like come on bro we paid over 20K for this BS. terrible serivce, place needs to be shut down.

I'm confident I've left a review before but it's always good to know after all these years Allure Banquet and Catering team is still very responsive, professional, and offers a variety of choices for it's customers. Thank you for keeping your customers happy! We will always come back.

My wife and I just hosted our wedding reception here on January 25! The general manager Steve took so much weight off our shoulders with the planning process from the months prior to our big day. He ensured us from the beginning everything we pictured would come to life the way we envisioned and he and his team exceeded all of our expectations. The venue is beautifully lit up with lights you can fully customize with Steve to get the perfect look you desire prior to your big day. Their staff was non-stop the whole 5ish hours accommodating all 340 of our guests needs. The top tier Mediterranean food made us all feel at home with how delicious it was. Would 100% recommend this venue for any special event you want to host for you and your loved ones!

I came here for a quinceañera the venue was absolutely gorgeous but the food portions were honestly really bad they gave a small portion of food for a table of 10 it's pretty bad what makes it worse is that it didn't even taste good, maybe thats why they do it. Additionally they charge $20 for the valet and they park the car in front of your face like 10 steps away I could honestly do that myself for free.

We had our son's Bar Mitzvah in the Star Ballroom and the event was flawless. The food was amazing, the service was on point and the planning was made really easy with David's guidance. I HIGHLY recommend!
