I was doing an family estate clearing and had to removed sensitive items, letters, pictures, bank statements, and income tax, identification items. When a common home shredder would take weeks and months to do. I just threw them in a box and took nearly 200 lbs to be shredded. Once and done in 5 minutes and you get a certificate of destruction. Very reasonable price. I would go here first any time. The staff was friendly and you get to see your stuff shredded in front of you eyes, to know it was done.

Have used this business for few yrs and the gentleman that comes to our businesses is very nice and friendly, but if you don't do regularly shredding .I would use one of the other local shred company. Such as Central shredding very nice company No Hidden fees. Advanced wants you to purchase their bin! And charge a lot more money to shred then the other local companies At a very high price to use their service.and their salesman will tell you one thing and then not back it up. I will not recommend this company.

Trying to rid myself of boxes of old tax records I called Advanced Data Storage (ADS) and was greeted with friendly customer service. The charge for shredding 8 banker boxes is $35 which I found very fair because shredding is a timely process. I transported the boxes on Wednesday and Thursday of this week and each time I was greeted and assisted with great customer service. I highly recommend this very professional and friendly service!

We have used ADS for many years first with our in laws business to get rid of documents for our customers safety and after the business closed for personal papers. We always had a ton of stuff to shred when we went there. It was $40.00 to $50.00. Today I went and while they are very polite and professional. I am quite ticked off that I basically handed them $8.60. The young man who weighed the papers, never told me the weight, but gave it to the girl who filled out the receipt. She said we have a minimum of $20.00. At the time I didn't think of asking what the weight was. When I signed the receipt I saw 57 lbs and still did not think to do the math. Serious health issues so that was not on my mind as priority. In getting home and looking at the receipt I see 57 lbs at $0.20 per lb is $11.40. I gave her a $100.00 bill. I don't think that is right or fair that customers who have less that the $20.00 minimum is not told up front. This should be explained to customers up front when they come into the office to sign in and be given a visitor's tag!Had that been the case, I would have waited until we had more stuff then to come back. I am on disability, I don't have that kind of money to just hand to a company!
