Acorn Diner

We came to this restaurant for dinner before a concert. The hostess greeted us and sat us down right away. However after about 10-15 minutes with any waiter or waitress acknowledging us or even asking our drink order we left. Other people who sat down after we came got their drinks and their order was taken. I told the hostess we are leaving and why. All she could say was sorry. Didn't even try to make it right. I was going to ask for a Manager and complain but feared that our food would be tampered with. We left and went to the food court where we had great service and most importantly our order was taken. I will never go back to acorn if this is how they do service. So many people walking around and don't even acknowledge you. I saw other customers not even get refills in their drinks where others were promptly served.

The food is amazing! I wish they would only let food reviews on yelp. Find another platform to complain about staffing.

We were going to eat at Black Bear but decided to try the acorn for Thanksgiving since we are not cooking this year and to my surprise this is the BEST turkey dinner I have ever had out at a restaurant and am compelled to express my gratitude for excellent food and service!

Good food, good service, need to improve ambiance. PotRoast is my favorite. Fresh ingredients

We eat breakfast here a couple of times a year, and we have always had excellent food!I tried the chili verde omelette once and have not been able to try anything else! It is one of the best chili verde dishes I have ever had. The chorizo breakfast burrito is also a winner every time. Service is friendly, and they do not mind that we split our huge breakfasts either. The place IS inside the casino so it is often a little more noisy than we would like, but not impossible. Overall, if we lived closer I would sure eat there more often!

For a casino restaurant I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the pot roast with mashed potatoes and green beans with bacon and the meal was delicious! The green beans were cooked perfectly with a crunch! The berry cobbler was buttery and perfectly warm!

Service was slow and food even slower. Table of 6, food took almost an hour to come out. We got in just about 11:15am before the lunch rush, and didn't get our food till 12:07. But when I ordered the steak I got the chicken. After that wait I wasn't going to send it back. Just had them change it on the bill. Food was good overall just poor service and long wait for food.

The best breakfast I've had definitely on a top 10! Beats a lot of diners I've been. If you go to this casino make sure to grab some breakfast. Perfect eggs, hash browns and the service was also great. Highly recommend

Very understaffed, waited a very long time for drinks and food. Cigarette smell was awful.

Got here around 10:00 the host said there's a waiting list even though they weren't busy at all Ordered a cheeseburger with fries. The bun was twice the size and the patty. The patty was so dry i couldn't even eat it. Would have been better off getting a happy meal at Burger King for $4 then paying $15 for this
