It has been over 4 months since Seven took pictures of my two daughters. We paid up front for this service, finished the photo session, and he said the process for completing the photos and getting them back to us would not take long. Because of the heat, these photos were taken in his studio in front of a green screen, so we understood up front that he would need time to edit the photos and insert a background. Here is the timeline for our attempts to get the pictures we paid for:2 months after pictures have been taken- After no contact for this entire time, we reach out to him. He mentions that he has been incredibly busy, but will get our pictures within a week. 2 months & 2 weeks- No contact well after first deadline. Reach out to him for update on pictures. It took a few days for him to respond. He again apologizes and says that he has been busy. He will have the pictures ready for viewing within a week.3 months- No contact from him. We have to initiate contact again multiple times for him to respond. Without giving a deadline, he simply insists that he is too busy, for right now. He does offer a refund over text as well as the pictures, but we just say that we want the pictures and have no problem paying for his service. After insisting on a deadline, he gives a date 2 weeks later. 3 months & 2 weeks- We initiate contact with him after that deadline goes by and he says he will be done in 5 days.Last contact with him was over 2 weeks ago. I have attempted to contact him, saying we would accept the unaltered photos and refund, but he has not responded, except once to tell me that contacting him will not increase the speed of his completion.My family and I have known this man for years and I post this with a great deal of sadness. Maybe he handled his business professionally at a previous time, but at this point we feel as if we have been taken advantage of.UPDATE: I was promptly contacted within 30 minutes of posting this. The response was threat of physical harm and anger that I would jeopardize his business by posting a bad review.

He was my wedding photographer few years back and let me tell you it took him a year to get my CD and that's because I was bugging & begging for it, besides that it took him another 3months to get my wedding prints, PLUS I NEVER GOT MY PHOTO ALBUM that I purchased from him. I messaged him so many times and he would reply back weeks later saying it will be ready within a month and that month came, 6months, years and nothing since this day I NEVER received my PHOTO ALBUM smh!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND anybody going with him!! I was very disappointed!!!

We have used Seven for numerous events.From the first event that we used him Seven impressed us with his professionalism, flexibility, and his clear desire to make sure everyone had the best possible experience a DJ/Master of Ceremonies can provide.During the event, Seven worked hard to adapt to what was most effective moment by moment. The dance floor was packed from the first dance to the last. One of the best testaments to this came from a guest who said "I danced so much that night that I physically just couldn't dance anymore." Moreover, we have had numerous calls from guests who said "your DJ was awesome! ON a scale from 1-10, Seven is definitely an 11+!"I guess Seven's secret is that he knows his audience, takes their cues, tastefully engages them and creates an unbelievably fun environment.

We used Seven Bates Photography service for an event several months ago, and have not yet received the photos or any communication about where he is at in the process of getting us our photos. The event is one that we cannot recreate and we are a loss for the mementoes that we cannot recover. We wish nothing more than to communicate with Seven about how we can fix this problem.

If you've ever had that one person at your party that seems to get everyone excited and talking and mingling, then you understand what Seven provides. There is never a dull moment during his events. He caters to his clients while still providing his own humor and ease to events. It's always more fun when he's around.

I give Seven a perfect FIVE STAR REVIEW! A good DJ can make an event. Seven will keep your guests on the dance floor from the first beat of the night to the very last! He caters to his audience, keeps everybody laughing and entertained, and ensures the event runs smoothly from start to finish.

AMAZING! My husband and I hired 7 Bates for our wedding in Keene, CA and he was beyond amazing! I didn't even give him a full music list but he knew our taste just from the few I did give him, The timing for the ceremony was perfect! He got the party going and was super helpful! It was pretty cold out, but he got the crowd moving! He was very interactive and funny as well. If he had any questions, he asked us right away! We will be using him at any future events we may have! I seriously spoke to about 30 DJS during my wedding planning process and he was the most honest and helpful! And, he even had his assistant take photos!!! Which was awesome. I haven't seen them yet but I have no doube they are amazing and can't wait to see them.

7 is the best DJ in town. I use him for all my events that I plan from charity fundraisers to personal parties such as birthdays. He is very professional, friendly, and reliable. 7 is great at playing music that gets people moving on the dance floor and caters the music according to the event using a variety of genres.

Unreliable. Can't make it more plain than that. Poor communication and zero effort put forth.

Get anyone besides this poor business man! We had heard from others of no shows but we have upcoming event he confirmed and now after two weeks of no contact we are scrambling to find a responsible good dj.VERY POOR customer service and he didn't have the courtesy or backbone to return a call or text after several weeks!PLEASE PLEASE take notice and go else where.We had friends that he didnt show up for their wedding and that is a very special day, no call nothing just didn't show.DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AT ALL!
