18th Street Bar and Grill

My wife and I came here with my mother in law on a dull Saturday for lunch.There were maybe 4 people at the bar when we came in and the bartender invited us to sit wherever we wanted. We chose a booth against the back wall and a good five minutes went by before she came over to provide a menu or ask for drink orders. As we each ordered, our waitress informed us they were out of just about everything each of us asked for, so we all had to pick an alternate item for lunch. She told us she would check to see if our desired appetizer was on hand but never came back.Roughly 45 minutes passed before each of our hamburgers showed up. During this time, the waitress stopped by once and brought ma a new beer about 5 minutes before the food arrived. When we finally got our burgers, they were all ice cold and just okay taste wise. I noticed there was a lot of seasoning on my slider trio. Perhaps Pappy's? Maybe they would have been better if they were warm.We were all ready to leave long before the check ever came, but when it did we were shocked to see that three burgers and four beers cost $110.I kw7ghed when I saw the portrait of Anthony Bourdain 9n the hallway by the restrooms here. There's no way he would stand for this garbage. Long story short, we won't be back.

We really like this place! They really do have some of the coldest beer on tap! I took my wife here for Valentine's Day's dinner we ordered the ribeye steak dinner the steak was cook just the way we liked them medium rare, i ordered the baked potato with every thing and the mixed vegetables. Everything was cooked and presented perfectly. The wife had the rice pilaf and green beans she loved them. Most nights they have music all local talents and all types of genres. That night the music was 80-90s rock! A fun night! Keep up the great work!

Christina has been amazing tonight! She made me a special off menu drink, The Peach! The atmosphere is super fun with musician memorabilia everywhere! Visit for a good time.

This was my first time to the 18th Street Bar & Grill. I had a great time! I was there to see some musician friends who had come in from LA, The Mark Sells Band. They play some blues, Santana & Stevie Ray Vaughan to name a few. The music was outstanding. If you see this band playing anywhere in town I definitely recommend them!The restaurant is in a cool old brick building with an attractive interior. There are booths, tables and a great bar for seating. The service was excellent. I can't remember my bartender's name but she was very friendly & attentive. I didn't order any food, but people around me seemed to enjoy theirs. I'll definitely be back!

First timer and was pleasantly surprised! Got the lemon pepper and mango bone less wings 10/10Also the classic burger 10/10And house margaritaEverything was very good with old school music will be back!

Great place to grab some food and hangout. The waitress/bartender went above and beyond. We will definitely be going back.

Food was just OK. Server was nice, but service was slow. Definitely not worth the cost of the bill.

This cannot possibly cost $24. That's like $8 per piece of pastrami. Shameful. It's a nice little place, but the prices are outrageous for what I got. It also came out with mustard when ordered without and took 20 forever to be re-made. 20 min and counting.

The food is exceptional! Ambiance is great But my gosh, we went on a Wednesday evening (admittedly very busy) and had to wait 15 minutes at a booth before being acknowledged even. I ended up going to the bar and ordering our beers. We were then handed a menu to take to table.About ten minutes later we were able to finally place an order. Ok cool. We have our beers and food order in. Time to enjoy the great jazz/blues band. Cut to chase, one of our orders finally arrived 55 minutes later. The other took one hour and fifteen minutes. Not once did anyone come by to check on our drinking needs. I went back to the bar and our waitress saw me and said "oh, u need two more? I got you. I'll bring em over." Ten minutes later we got em. Why not just hand em to me when you saw me at the bar? Well, the AMAZING FOOD did help with our hanger anger. We ate, and danced after with all the other fun dancing couples.After music we wanted to leave. After sitting twenty minutes hoping to have our check run to pay up we stood up putting on jackets hoping we'd be noticed. Pretty sure our server saw, but continued to run other errands. We were never checked on. I had to pick up my 16 son after his music gig on the other part of town. In a tough area. So I finally got the attention of the other server after walking up to the bar.. Told her we HAD to get going finally. She was a sweetheart and rang us up. She put a 15 percent discount for the troubles. VERY nice gesture. Look, I understand being busy. They were obviously understaffed. Those poor gals did not even have a bus person. So, yeah. But it takes like two seconds to stop back at table every so often Right? And our server was very nice with the little interaction we got. I REALLY want to try again. And I hope if the server sees this she'll not get angered, as we really tried to be patient throughout. We tipped 15 percent in this case. But I promise y'all that when the service is decent and even a bit beyond we tip much much more, and are happy to do so. (Love those service workers! Was in the industry myself.They'd be smart to have a dedicated bartender so the waitresses did not have to serve tables and also work the bar.Very much looking forward to going back to try again. It's a great music venue, and again, superb food.
