I want more people to know about this place! They have authentic Bosnian food that is currently takeout only. It's a bit of a drive from where I live but it's 100% worth it. It makes my Sunday evenings :) Their menu changes weekly but they have great options every time. Keep it up!

We're obsessed. Everything has been so good! Musaka was probably my favorite so far. Kupusnjača seems to be a regular choice, and each type has been really good. Maybe the best baklava I've had. Staff is super kind and friendly. Very much worth the effort of preordering for a scheduled pickup.

This place just popped up not too long ago in early Feb. I noticed their window decal when I was out walking the neighborhood with by dog. I was intrigued, so I subscribed myself for updates about the place. When they had their soft launch we wanted to try it out because we've never had Balkan food before. Let me tell you, I am SO glad we did. [FYI it is take out only right now] The first go around we got the Krompiruša (think savory phyllo pastry with meat and potatoes), Goulash (think beef stew and potatoes), a piece of Baklava (wetter than Greek baklava, and WAY better with more spices and a denser bite), and a Rose Lemonade (divine as hell - I cut it in half with water so I could try and make it laster even longer and it was still amazing, not too sweet). For two people it was more than enough and we definitely had to save some of it for leftovers. It's not a "light" meal, so keep that in mind - they do have a salad type option but we have not ordered that. They only do orders on certain days right now, so you preorder for a certain day and menu, then pick up at the time you schedule. I don't know if that's their plan moving forward, but I think it is kind of fun having different main course options each time. I'm really glad they joined the neighborhood - we'll continue to order from here for dinner when we can! :D

We recently attended the Seattle holiday fair in Seattle Center, under the lights of the space needle. The fair consisted of many, many small business owners displaying their creative products for sale, and of course, there was also an outdoor food court of unique and recognizable restaurant concepts. We elected to try baked, in Bosnia. The two fellows running the operation were very hospitable and congenial. We ordered two of the goulash in a sour dough bread bowl. We love a good sour dough. Let me get to the point. The bread bowl needed to be scooped out a little deeper and more than 3/4 of a cup of goulash needed to be provided to achieve the price value relationship we all strive for in the restaurant business. Your portion was too small. The biggest offense and or recommendation I could make, though, is that on a cold night as it was, the bread bowl must be warm. The temperatures we were experiencing tirned the sourdough cold and hard. It just couldn't be enjoyed as we all know, warm sourdough can be a real treat. This was not the first night of the holiday fair, you guys could've shifted gears and made the adjustment after night number one with the equipment you already had on hand. While I was waiting for my meal, a very upset, customer returned to chastise the two restaurant representatives for that exact issue. The sourdough bread bowl was stone cold, and your lack of initiative to make the change did a real disservice to your brand. Two bread bowls, $55.76 +15% tip.

This is a hidden jewel in Seattle. Delicious food that you maybe haven't experienced before but you will soon wonder how you lived without. Kind and gracious, Selma gives you a taste of home cooking that is hearty and comforting, the way you wished your mom had cooked. Please give this a try, you will not regret it.

This delish factory hits your tastebuds and tummy in all the right places. Each week these dedicated chefs pour their hearts, souls and history into enchanting delicacies which, when you eat them, are like being hugged by a caring grandma from the old country. It's all of the love and none of the guilt about how long she had to work in the kitchen to give you such a feast.Baked In Bosnia is a MUST for anyone wanting to visit the cuisine of another country but can't get there every Sunday. The menu changes weekly and anything can be purchased a-la-carte. With a new meal each week, I know I'll be going back again and again. I hope you'll try it too and support these good people, their spactacular food and great cause they have chose to support with proceeds from each purchase. What's not to love?Thank you Baked In Bosnia!

I was so thrilled last year to find Balkan food in Seattle, and Baked in Bosnia never disappoints! We love the variety from the menu, though some things are so good you just want them every time (sirnica - cheese pita). The staff are always very nice when you pick up your food, but recently they blew us away. We had our first baby last week and my friend ordered Sunday dinner for us. Not only was the food delicious, per usual, but it was delivered to our house! As first time parents, we were SO grateful to have a fresh, home cooked meal for dinner.I'd recommend Baked in Bosnia to everyone!!
