I think I've stumbled upon what might just be my new favorite coffee shop in Seattle. I'm not typically an avid coffee drinker, but I will indulge in delicious pastries. I made the mistake of not getting there early enough. By the time I arrived (around 11am on a lazy Sunday), they already sold out of their loaf cakes: matcha orange blossom and lemon poppy seed. Lesson learned. Get here early to snag those goodies before they vanish!Instead, I got their banana loaf slice with ginger and chocolate and a Yukon roll, and I also picked up a cute matcha shortbread cookie. All so delicious!

Coffee - Nothing mind blowing. The prices are great but the portion is small. Pastries - The selection was quite limited the 3 times I've stopped by. I'm usually looking for savory pastries but have had no luck. There were only 1-2 savory options each time. The latest item I tried was the garlic & onion scone. This was very moist but slightly too salty for my taste.I stop by on my way to/ from work and look forward to trying more items in the future. The service is friendly!

I has this place on my list for a while so I met a friend there to finally try it! They have a good selection of pastries and a savory menu. Everything we order was really good and everyone was super friendly. They have a few tables but there's always one available for you to sit.I noticed that they have a special menu at night so I'm definitely coming back to try it!

Bake Shop was a cute little cafe that offers good lunch sandwich options. I had the ham and cheese sandwich in homemade bread and a cup of hazelnut maple latte. Staff was nice but they seemed confused who ordered what. Thinking back, I got a number stand, I got my order correctly, but my friend didn't get the stand and they got hers wrong - maybe they ran out of the stand. Sandwich was excellent and I really liked their bread. On the other hand, I could feel something powdery that was caught in my throat when drinking my latte. The flavor was good but that sensation bothered me a bit. My friend had the carrot cake and I tried it a little bit - the icing was smooth and the cake was pretty good! Most of the tables only seat two people max and there was only one table that can seat 8 people if they sit closely. I wish there are more 4-seaters. But having smaller tables make it a better place for people to work individually - indeed, we actually saw Alia Zaita (the YouTuber!) hanging out. That was crazy.

Everything I've tried from here has been so good. I recently came for brunch and had their breakfast sandwich for the first time. OMG, the bread and the sauce and filling combined for the perfect sandwich! Although a bit pricey at $14, it was quite large and comes with a side salad so it is a full meal.Their coffee drinks are always spot on, and the matcha with hemp milk is nice and creamy. They don't use any nut milk here, so the alternatives are oat and hemp. Their pastries are not to be missed. Each time I've come I've tried something new and they rotate their options. Recently I noticed the miso buckwheat chocolate chip cookie and couldn't resist. It was worth it! So chocolatey with a nice umami undertone!I love Bake Shop and hope you will too!

Decent food for an upper upper middle class coffee joint. The food is tasty, but the cashless service is effectively discriminatory. I've stopped going from my office nearby because of this and encourage avoiding any cashless businesses.

Lovely breakfast spot! No wait on a Saturday around 9 or 10am. They were busy, but we were able to put together a few tables for our group of nine.Street parking is easy nearby, but it is all paid parking. There weren't other kids there, but it also was fine that our toddlers were being a little rowdy. No high chairs or booster, but the restroom is spacious. There is a cabinet in the restroom that you can use as a changing table, but it is quite tall and not very large so you have to be a bit careful.* Cappuccino ($5.00) - 4 starsTasty and good texture but too much foam. Cool mug, though.* Rosemary Iced Latte ($6.00) - 4 starsSlightly bitter, slightly sweet, perfect with the salted crema on top.* Yukon Gold Cinnamon Rolls ($7.00) - 4 starsMoist, and lovely with the lemon zest icing! * Ham and Cheese Cinnamon Rolls - 4 starsGreat, and the mustard in the rolls is a nice surprise!* Cardamom Butterhorn ($4.00) - 2.5 starsA little dry, and I couldn't taste the cardamom. * Banana bread ($6.00) - 5 starsThe fave all around, this has a hint of something extra we can't quite place but everyone loved it! * Breakfast Sandwich ($14.00) - 4.5 starsUnique blend of spices, fresh and tasty ingredients. This is our friend's favorite after many trips here, and now our favorite too! * Ham & Cheese Sandwich ($15.00) - 4 starsHearty and delicious, love the soft melty texture from the thick slice of mozzarella.

It's just ok. They use a powdered cocoa for the mocha, instead of shaved chocolate or homemade syrup. I only drank 1/5 and poured the rest out.As for the banana loaf, it was also meh.

Best cookie in Seattle, and an awesome vibe. We stop here frequently after walks or runs at Olympic Statue park, and it's great. It's the type of coffee shop that has just enough buzz to make it feel alive, and allow you to have a conversation with a loved one. It wouldn't be allowed in Seattle to not have good coffee, and Bake Shop delivers.

Bake Shop is a cute, cozy cafe and bakery near Seattle Center with a standard selection of coffee drinks, light fare, and backed goods. However, the service is slow (20-30 minutes for their sandwiches) during what seemed like typical busyness (10 total customer orders in the queue). While the food is good, it's not worth the wait. Also, prices are quite high ($15 for a small breakfast sandwich and a small salad). Minus two stars for slow service, minus another start for high prices for what you get.
