My niece can't get enough of the hummus!! From the meat counter to the deli, everything here creates the perfect dinner party, pool party, or just a nice meal at home! The usual suspects for my table are the kebab, fresh feta, hummus, and tabouli. Garlic sauce, cucumbers, pita, baklava....the list could go on, but those are notable mentions!

I've spent time living in the Middle East and every so often, I like coming here to get some items that brings me back to Syria and Turkey.I like coming here to get all different kinds of Middle Eastern style breads which include pita, lavash and tanour bread. There is so many to choose from! This time also I was able to get some za'atar brioches and oh my goodness, I had these for breakfast this morning and they were delicious!I also like to get things here where I can't find elsewhere so I got some pomegranate juice, and some roasted chick pea snacks. They have quite a selection of spices here and I also picked up some roasted sesame.Lots of nuts to choose, and plenty of Middle Eastern/Arabic sweets and desserts available. They also sell hookah supplies here (not a fan - really bad for you). I hadn't been to this location in awhile and I miss that the inside restaurant is no longer open. I liked to get some of the ready made dips and sandwiches here. Bummer.Towards the back, lots of fresh sweets for sale including all kinds of baklava and there is also fresh olives for sale also! Fresh, halal meat available and also some meat that's been marinated and ready to cook. Fresh cheeses also available. I think I like the Mesa location better as I can get spinach and za'atar pies there and the fresh produce selection is better. And also you can get hummus, babaghanoush and other dips at the other location. Overall, I would say that these Baiz grocery stores are my happy place. It brings me back to a sweet and memorable time. It's worth a visit to check out all the unique items here and their pita and breads are fresh, tasty and well priced!

Wow - echoing what a few other reviewers have said: I've been meaning to come here for FOREVER & finally made it! A friend is a loyal Baiz customer & brought me for my first visit. So much good stuff that's unbelievably, affordably priced! What I love:*Produce prices - .69 cents for a bunch of mint; Yes please*Buy by the pound: kalamata olives, three kinds of feta (Bulgarian, Danish, Greek), labneh (creamy Greek yogurt)*Butcher dept w/ anything & everything including those lamb tongues (in photo) - not something I'd eat but each to their own*Pastry dept - they must have about THIRTY different kinds of pastries from pistachio & nutella baklava to traditional ma'amoul cookies*Spice aisle w/ an enormous range of spices from the familiar, cinnamon, to the more exotic (for me), za'atar*All the flavored waters, like rose water and orange blossom water, w/ many brands to choose from* Restaurant/cafe w/ seating area - lunched on a chicken shwarma sandwich & friend lunched on a beef shwarma sandwich; sandwiches are served on thin bread like lahvosh vs. a pita breadFor $21 smackeroos, I got the following groceries:Feta cheese/1/2 poundBottle of rose waterMint bunchThree Persian cukes1& 1/2 lb of sweet potatoesPumpkin seeds/8 ozWalnuts/1 poundCream-topped yogurt/32 ozThis same grocery list would be twice the price at Fry's so yes, I'm a new fan of Baiz! Thank you for offering so much to our community.

Quality of food in test has definitely gone downhill since Covid. Tried to overcharge me as well with their different sizes of hummus, etc. Food used to be a solid 8 and is now a solid 6.

This market has a great selection of fresh and shelved food for great prices. I couldn't believe how much I got for under $20. They also have a little restaurant inside where you can eat or get food to go. I'll be back very soon.

At their takeout deli the hummus is fresh with no added chemicals and they use fresh lemon and olive oil on their tabbouli. The prices are good, and the quality is unbeatable. Small location but you can get a selection of items here from different countries. This store is clean like the rest. Hours aren't long so plan according. The deli makes this one my favorite because the quality

About 18 months ago, a friend (who is a famous bargain hunter) brought me here for lunch. It is close to the downtown core with ample parking. It's a middle eastern supermarket with a fresh food counter and seating area. They have interesting pastries and meat or veggie flatbread 'pies' and several great entrees. For about $10, you can get a plate with a main meat or veg (beef kebab, kafta/koobideh, beef or chicken shawarma or, do a little more, lamb) with this, you get a heap of rice, pickles, sliced tomato, hummus or garlic sauce and two pieces of super light, puffy pita. The garlic sauce is ***magical***! But your "meal" is at least 2 meals, unless you are a lumberjack or something. My vegetarian friends love the hummus, baba ghanouj, tabbouli, salads and falafel options. To those less familiar with ethnic markets, it may seem odd to find a supermarket with fresh, hot food service in one space but it isn't uncommon in ethnic markets. This is one worth checking out if you like middle eastern, Turkish, Greek, Persian, Lebanese or Afghani cuisine.

I purchased these breads at the 20 street location, all were burned on the back side, one piece of bread in each bag was turned over so people don't see the burned bread. Shame on you to cheat people like that, I wonder what else they are cheating on. I will never buy anything here anymore.
