Another stellar meal. The workers are so pleasant and helpful. Portions are great and prices are right. It's a small cafe with a few tables so you can stay to eat your lunch but the majority take it to go. This is a must try!

Excellent selection of ethnic mediterranean foods from all over the world. They also have a cafe next door with house made dinners, sandwiches and salads. Their bakery has delicious sweets.

A hidden gem! I got the chicken shawarma plate and it was sooo good! I got to choose three sides. I chose rice, spinach salad and hummus. I got about 4 meals out of it! The staff was super friendly. They made you feel like family! It's connected to this market with other yummy items. Can't wait to go back!

I drive close to 50 minutes each way to come to Bahnan's because it makes me feel like home. My kids actually ask when we're going again if we don't go for a while. Our very first time there, the lady at the register gave us each a pastry because she overheard us driving a long distance. Total Middle Eastern hospitality!!! We usually go have our sandwiches at the café then shop at the market. We've only tried the chicken and beef shawerma and falafel sandwiches, all very good! Prices are reasonable and there's a big selection of things. They always have seasonal produce and goodies too, which is always great! Over all, it's the best 50 minutes I'll ever spend driving to a store!! We love Bahnan's!

They need to control head-count during COVID time. Other than that, it's a great place. Great cookies and pastries, nice cheese selection, and a nice sandwich place in the back. Very friendly and helpful.

Can I give this place 10 stars? The food was DELICIOUS and filling. I ordered a chicken shawarma plate with tahini sauce on the side. The plate included fresh and perfectly seasoned chicken, rice pilaf, hummus and a lovely salad that was plentiful with cucumbers. The tahini sauce was a great addition and surprisingly, they don't charge extra for it! Oh my word, this plate filled me right up and left me so satisfied! Staff was super friendly and my meal was completed right on time to pick up as soon as I walked in the door (I ordered over the phone). I'm just overall super impressed, as I came here on a whim with a craving for Mediterranean. I will definitely be returning on my next trip into Worcester!

GOOD FOOD HORRIBLE SERVICE ! There is never anyone to offer advise or any customer service and the woman behind the desert counter needs to learn to offer better customer service, for sure.....you can stand there forever and workers just pass you by ... busy with this or that and forgetting about their customers. Too bad They must not be real Lebanese because it is all about hospitality in the Lebanese culture and these people do not know the meaning of Arabic culture . Sure the food is good and they learned from Lebanese people to make it , perhaps, they lived there for a while but their education and cultural background is not Arabic!!! certainly not Lebanese!!! not Palestinian or Syrian!!

Wow! Really fun selection of some things I knew and many that were totally new to me. Extremely good prices on produce and other items. I tried the Greek feta and it was AMAZING, can't wait to try more kinds! I found the service to be especially warm- lots of help and good sense of humor and hospitality from the several workers I interacted with. I'm sorry it took me so long to visit, and I can't wait to come back and try more things!

Hidden gem. The staff is helpful, all the prepared foods are delicious, and the baklava is the best!!!

I can't say enough good about Bahnan's - from the friendly staff and owner to their DELICIOUS food and the great value! I have not been to Albania in a few years, and I was craving suflaqe/shwarma - Bahnan's is the best! The main reason I shop here is because I make spanakopita on a regular basis (in fact, it was at Bahnan's that I was able to find a large round "tava" - Walmart doesn't sell them) and I always buy domestic feta and phyllo dough here. The cheese is much better quality than in the supermarket - and I LOVE their Doudonis feta. I am also thrilled that Bahnan's carries BOTH Bulgarian and Albanian kashkaval (yellow cheese), which are both delicious yet distinct from each other. Bahnan's also carries foil pans and aluminum covers of different sizes (for half the price at The Dollar Store, lol) which are very convenient. I have been patronizing Bahnan's for 25 years now, and when my kids were little the sweet Albanian lady working the cheese counter always used to give them a cookie when we came in. If Bahnan's ever closes, it will be a bad, bad day in my household....
