Bahia is a sneaky-good hole in the wall Mexican place with the tasty vegetarian options. We always get the Bahia Burrito and the Surfer Burrito and split them, because we can't choose one over the over. They now have 4 different sauces at the salsa bar and all are worth trying.

The place was not real clean and has gone down hill big time I ordered chicken. Rolled tacos it had cheese lettuce but I was horrrified to see the chicken was bad old keep in mind they do fry them in a deep fryer but the chicken that was in the tacos was several days old and tasted rancid never again willI order from this place

Sweet little spot in a University Heights strip mall!Your typical Mexican fare here with average prices. What I enjoyed most about Bahia is that there are four varieties of salsas you can pour for yourself. I got the hot and medium salsas. Both were really flavorful and added a nice depth to my potato breakfast burrito.Potato breakfast burrito -- 8/10. Overall pleasant! I do wish, however, that the potatoes were a bit crispier because I found them to be too soft for my liking. It was wrapped well in foil so that when I actually had time to sit down and eat it low half an hour after I received it, it was still warm!There's a good amount of parking but beware that this lot is awful. It's busy here and the spots are narrow

This place is a hidden gem!! I got the Cali Burrito, add shrimp and chipotle sauce. It was DELICIOUS. Fresh, meaty, and well seasoned. One of the best Cali burritos I've had in San Diego. 10/10 recommend- add the chipotle sauce from the surf and turf!!The service is also fantastic. Very sweet and fast service.

The road tacos had a little too much sour cream. They also didn't taste like quality. I bought the road tacos on Thanksgiving of 2023. I went into the restaurant and I didn't see anybody there. Come to find out the girl was outside in her car doing I don't know what... The red sauce sucked and was not even spicy.

I think this place is under new management or something cause the food hasn't tasted the same in the past month or so. I get a burrito once in a while from this place but the last two times I've visited it wasn't good. The flavor was lacking and for some reason they added grilled onions and onion and cilantro and lettuce to the burritos. Whatever recipe they used before they need to go back to it because what they're doing right now is not working. The person at the register seemed confused about the menu too so it didn't leave me feeling too great about my burrito. It was extremely disappointing tasted terrible that i couldn't even finish my burrito after one bite. I ended up eating something else for dinner.

I've been coming here for years, they just switched management and it's only gotten better. Order the gigante (surfer) burrito. It's vegetarian and gigantic!

Very pleasant place to sit down and have a meal, small mom and pop style hole in the wall. Great prices with great portions and friendly staff. Definitely will be coming back here every time I'm in the area.

Inconsistent. I tried to be forgiving through the number of times I've been here but recently but today did me in. No reason I should be given a beef chimichanga instead of the requested chicken. I don't eat beef so it was thrown in the trash. I get things happen, but this is just the one of many times I end up disappointed. I'd never go back here which is a shame since I live across the street.
