Hooray - Baggin's has made it up to Scottsdale. (And I hear more are coming to the Valley.) If you've ever lived in Tucson you'll be familiar with their variety of fresh sandwiches served in a bag with a complimentary chocolate chip cookie. I've always enjoyed the Prime Baggins: a roast beef sandwich with a cream cheese spread and other toppings. To be honest, fifteen dollars is on the higher price point for a sandwich. But many other chains charge close to this price without the cookie, and I enjoy Baggin's a bit more. Their lunch specials usually include a drink and make it a better value so look for those. I'm just happy they've come up to the Phoenix market.

I was so excited to see my old favorite sandwich shop from Tucson open here in town! I spent many days after class at the UofA at Baggins enjoying an Albuquerque Turkey and the mini chocolate chip cookies out of brown paper bags! Pleased to share, I ordered my Albuquerque Turkey from here and it was the same! Same recipe. Same fabulous sandwich. Bonus- the mini chocolate chip cookie was the same! Omg! Yum! Now, they offer in a big size too. Welcome to town and thank you. Beardown!

Put in a group lunch order for my team through Yelp. We got a mix of things ranging from the Asian salad to the Grinder and Albuquerque Turkey. It was ready within 20 minutes for pick up. Each order came with a cookie which was a nice plus! Everyone enjoyed their sandwiches and came to a group decision that Baggin's earned 5 stars.

As a regular visitor to Baggin's in Tucson, very excited to have a location in the Phoenix area. I have to start with dessert first - the cookies are made in house and are absolutely fabulous! As a bit of a creature of habit I always get the Chicken Rojo. I need to try other things here. Today, June 24, 2024 is the opening day. Looking forward to trying more things. Great service, nice eat-in area and friendly staff.

I used to live in Tucson and always LOVED Baggin's. I was so excited to see it come to Scottsdale and finally had the chance to stop in today. Everything about this location was nostalgic and was exactly what I remember and love about Baggin's. I ordered the Sundown and every bite was perfect. The staff was very friendly and stopped by more than once to check on us. I will be recommending this place to all of my friends and neighbors because I want it to be a permanent staple of our neighborhood. Their sandwiches are all delicious but my favorites are the Sundown, Unforgettable, Albuquerque Turkey and Anasazi. The cookies added to every bag are the perfect size and are soft and delicious. Their carrot cake is incredible and their sides are also tasty. I cannot say enough good things about this sandwich shop. Will be back often!

Today was my third time getting a sandwich from Baggin's. There sandwiches are good, but a bit pricey. I was disappointed today though when I picked up a sandwich. I ordered the club sandwich and added avocado. The sandwich with avocado and chips and a drink was $24 which is expensive for a basic sandwich with chips and a drink. The disappointing part is that I paid extra for the avocado only to discover when I got home that there was no avocado on my sandwich, so I paid extra for nothing.

Yummy, fresh and friendly. I was getting my nails yesterday and saw this place. I had not seen it before. I was happy because I love fresh sandwiches and this place is close to me. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. When I walked in I was immediately greeted, it made me feel comfortable right away. I ordered the veggie because I love all of the veggies on it. I added turkey (shame on me) and asked them to hold the Swiss cheese and the cream cheese. I waited less than five minutes and my order was up. I have to mention that I did not realize you get a free cookie, I thought you had to buy it. They were kind enough to give me extra because I wanted to share with my coworker. The sandwich was good. I love the taste of the 12 grain bread. The veggies were fresh! The cookie was a sweet ending to a nice lunch. I went back and told everyone, I cannot wait to come back and try the chicken salad.

Decided to try this place because of all the great reviews. I ordered a turkey club and the Italian sandwich for my husband. Honestly, these were not gourmet sandwiches. They was nothing special about them, and the bread for both sandwiches wasn't soft. I also ordered the potato salad side for $4 and it was the smallest amount. Which was fine because the potato salad had too many onions and too much mustard. I'm upset I spent $42 on just sandwiches. Kinda expensive.

Exceptional! Just like the Tucson locations. Best sandwiches in PHX and the staff is phenomenal.

While the service was fine, the food was bland and underwhelming, plain sandwich and not made well. Won't return.
