I wanted something different so I gave this a try. I'm so happy I took a chance. I got the Francisco and a peach black tea. Everything was so fresh. The staff were nice. I will definitely return again.

Overall, it was just ok! If it was cheaper, I'd put it at a 4 but for the price and the quality it's a 3 for me. It was my first time going and so I was taking a look at the menu. I decided to order this egg sandwich the Mikey that consisted of eggs, melty white American cheese, sausage, and mikes hot honey. After the fact saw in smaller font on the top of the menu that there were simpler egg sandwiches for slightly less money. That feels a little deceiving to me. I wish the person at the counter also guided me through the menu, but that's just a preference of mine.I took it to go and made my walk home which was like a 15 minute walk. When I opened up the sandwich, the eggs were all melted into the food paper wrapping and there was barely any in the sandwich itself. I had to scrape most of it off and could only get like half of it off the paper. When I took a bite, everything slid out of the bagel too. The bagel felt too hard and maybe a little old or something. Also I didn't really taste the hot honey?Would I go back for food? Probably not. Did I notice there was a patio and maybe I'd go back to get just a drink and do school work or read at their patio? Potentially!

Dang, since I left my last review I've been in TONS of times, but I'll admit it's been a while since I've been in.Bagel Miller has changed a LOT and they're not positive changes. The gluten free bagel is now Udi's. It doesn't say anything on the website or in store about this change. While I had previously raved about the delicious soft eggs in their sandwiches, the eggs they use now seem to be powdered/fake and have a hotel breakfast taste and consistency. I'm disappointed to say that unless they change back to the previous quality, I will be opting for the other Gluten free bagel in Chicago at Chicago Bagel Authority (they also serve Udi's bagel and it's at least $3 cheaper). Bummed!!

Well I'll start off by saying the bagel was delicious. Happy with that. But for 2 bagels and a black coffee, $25 seems a little steep for me. Not crazy, but a little expensive. Only issue with the bagel, called classic egg, however it was scrambled and mixed with milk. My wife was not able to eat hers because of the lactose. I would expect a fried egg, disappointed in that.

WOAH these bagels were huge. We got the Big Exed which had everything you could possibly want for breakfast including egg, melted cheese, giardinera cream cheese, bacon, and a ton of pastrami. The menu had many other options as well that we are excited to try in the future. The inside of the shop was super cute and decorated in a fun, hip way. The reason why I'm giving 4 stars is the price and proportions. The bagel was about $16 which I think is wayyy overpriced, I guess they try to offset it by putting so much ingredients into the bagel in which case you will barely finish it or just feel super full for the rest of the day. It's also kind of hard to take half home because of how messy/greasy they get (at least for the one we got). I would prefer the price to be lower and have a smaller portion while not feeling like I'm going to explode after eating one bagel. If ordering with a friend I would definitely suggest splitting just one. Overall this place is worth a visit and we plan to come back soon.

Popped in for a quick breakfast bacon, egg & cheese bagel sandwich. At $12 each we had pretty high expectations. At first bite I could tell something was off with the eggs- the consistency & texture were off. I suspect they were powdered. I had a plain bagel which was just ok but my husband didn't like the poppy. The problem with saying 'NY bagel' is that we're going to expect the chewy soft deliciousness of a NY bagel & this wasn't it. I will say, the bacon was delicious & cooked perfectly. We also had a very enjoyable sugar cookie with sprinkles.

Hipster atmosphere in this little bakery and cafe. It's one of the longtime popular places in Lincoln Square. Baker Miller has recently changed up concepts a bit. Featuring mostly bagels now and a few pastries. The prices are from okay to kind of high mostly.Bagels are the main thing ever since this place has gone through a change. It's now set up more like a deli. There's a menu of bagels and spreads. Also there's coffee. The spreads are usually cream cheese, and a few of these are vegan. Strangely enough, none of the bagels are. What are you going to put the vegan cream cheese on then? Anyway they have a few vegan cookies. It's about $3 each. They had a Black & White one. Liked the frosting on it especially. There's a few other things on the menu such as pasta salad. For sure it's good to support a local business. It would help if they fixed a few things about it. Things like how about getting some more bagels because that supposedly is the main thing.

Really solid breakfast sandwich on a great bagel. I had one of their Hangover Helper sandwiches on a sesame bagel. Fresh basil, tomatoes, cream cheese eggs, and sausage. Eggs were perfectly cooked and tomatoes were fresh and flavorful. Friendly cashier and a reasonable wait time.

another attempt trying this place after they forgot all of the additions to a $25 sandwich. Tried to order online but the site wouldn't process any of my 4 payment methods. So I go in person, first I try to order just pastrami by the 1/4lb which it says they offer on the site, the cashier looks at me confused and says they dont offer that. So then I try to order a sandwich on a long roll which I have had here multiple times and the cashier says "this is a bagel shop". Not a good response to a customer! I'll never recommend or return. Wildly overpriced for the quality and the service is off putting. Deserves the poor ratings they seem to get often.

the place is cute inside which is what drew me in, but it's SO overpriced and disappointing. i wanted to add an egg to my bagel sandwich (which was already 13$ for just veggies and cream cheese on a bagel) and they tried to charge me 5$. to add an egg. 5$!!!!! you can get a whole carton of eggs for 5$ so ridiculous and the bagels aren't even that good, or special. the coffee sucks too. r&a is another local bagel shop not far from this dump at all, and is better in literally every single way. i recommend that spot tenfold.
