Bagatelle French Bakery

I stopped by here on a whim when in need of some cake/pastries. The outside of this place is underwhelming, but don't be fooled! Pastries were delicious and incredibly reasonable! I got a slice of marble cake, brownie, chocolate muffin and 2 jelly croissant type things (forget the name). Everything was so good! The muffin was exception, my personal favorite! So glad I randomly stopped by! I'll definitely be back!!

This may seem like a little hole in the wall but let me tell you, it's the best kept secret! The pastries are so fresh and they always give me a great deal when catering! Love the coffee cake , monkey bread, chocolate and almond croissants . Yum!

Great people! Small batch of goodies to choose from but the items they have are of great qualify. Super yum! Parkings awful but worth it for sure! Support local, shop small business owners.

Don't order delivery from this bakery. They do not fulfill their Uber Eats orders. It takes 3-10 days for the refund to show up in your bank account. Not worth the hassle. A responsible business would turn off online ordering for delivery rather than continuing to take orders they cannot fulfill.

I LOVE stopping here , their chocolate and almond croissants are yummy! My son loves the bear claws. Gotta get there early...

We were in town looking for something for breakfast! Amazed at the assortment of savory and sweet treats. I landed in a chocolate cream filled eclair and hubby a cranberry scone. Both did not disappoint. Flavorful, tasty, large portions, reasonably priced, great customer service.

I've been waiting for this bakery to actually open forever! It was really worth the wait. They also have gluten free pastries .... and they are delicious.Great breakfast and lunch stuffed croissantsto die for. Give them a try. You won't regret it.

Everything here is absolutely amazing! The service here is super nice, and I have very nice conversations with the owner. They have an amazing variety of pastries, and the Empanadas are so delicious. My favorite is the plain croissant, it feels like it's baked freshly as soon as I receive it. The prices here are so convenient too for how good the food and portions are. There's something magical about small businesses, but overall, there's nothing in this place that isn't spectacular.

I give him 4 1/2 stars. We got to to the owner/baker. He worked at Living Room which we would visit many times in our younger years about 30 years ago when we moved to San Diego. First don't missed this place as we almost did. The sign is hidden they have everything from lemon bar to Monkey bread. We got savory empanadas but also croissants. If you do we do love small hole in wall place, this for sure is worth a visit.

We LOVE Jaime and his staff and French pastries! The Empanadas have replaced our former breakfast burrito habit! His baked goods are trike special- he offers unique choices... with the tried and true always available, but a little something different everyday! We love the monkey bread muffin, and my favorite is the Caprese Empanada. If you work for a non profit and need to cater a continental breakfast, you will find Jaime to be generous!
