Bad Albert's Tap & Grill

On a street of (generally) overpriced and pretentious restaurants, Bad Albert's is welcomed relief. The food is great and even on the busiest of nights comes out quick, hot and delicious. I regularly crave the cheesesteak. Great place to watch some sports and chat with other locals. I've always gotten good service and the owner is a gem who knows his regulars but also treats a new guest with just as much love and respect. Don't sleep on this place, and get the fuggin cheesesteak.

The ambiance was cold and dark, lots of TV's but was otherwise a depressing place. Food was unseasoned and mediocre but was not too expensive. Service was fine.

First impressions - Basic, clean, comfortable bar atmosphere, lots of TVs (Sports & Music vids w/ no sound on while I was there). No outside dining/drinking option. The music was noticeable but not obnoxious. It's a pretty big somewhat open space and was pretty quiet with only a few ppl here when I went - but I came in on a Monday in the early part of Happy Hour on a cold day in December so I don't think that speaks badly of the bar at all. The bartender was nice. I ordered a basic vodka/soda/cran and it was perfectly fine. I didn't order food or visit the bathrooms so I can't give any info on those - but I'd come here again.

For a dark out the way bar, Salmon Dinner was unusually good. Crisp Asparagus. Perfect Garlic mash potatoes. Wasn't expecting much, but now I'm tempted to cime here mote often. TV's watching sports all around.

The burgers were tall and tasty, and the beers were cold and refreshing. The only complaint is that when we went to pay, we noticed a "10% inflation fee" on the bill. We didn't see any signs or anything on the menu indicating there would be such an unusual charge.I understand that costs have increased and businesses are making adjustments. However, please adjust your base prices instead of adding tricky fees that many people won't notice until after they go to pay.

Great food. This place was recommended by another co worker and they were correct. They have a very extensive beer menu as well as a full bar for cocktails. The food will bring you back. I highly recommend the won ton taco appetizer as it was a great surprise to how flavorful they were. Great little dive bar in Ballard. Servers were really friendly and we enjoyed our time.

So I was a-little timid about trying the bar food, because, well bar food! But the cooks there are phenomenal! Thank you Juan! Everything tastes, super fresh and flavorful, and I always leave with a happy belly with no tummy ache! (Also, they come up with new specials all the time and everything has been amazing!) All of the bartenders are very friendly, and have a great sense of humor, including the owner! He definitely goes above and beyond, and is always in a positive mood!(: The ambience is set up a certain way, where it's cozy, almost reminds me of how a saloon would be back in the good old days, but then also has a lot of modern look to it, and of course, plenty of TVs to watch any and all sports! They have live bands, pretty regularly, they do karaoke, also regularly. They also have music playing from the stereo most of the time; But if you ever get sick of a station, you can always politely request some different tunes, and they will be happy to oblige! Shout out to Cory, Gregory, Arron, Juan and the rest of the amazing team!! You guys are awesome, please keep doing what you're doing!

Assuming the name on the payment receipt is accurate - Cory is awesome. Best / friendly service I've had in years (I read that he may be the owner). He brought over a selection of hot sauces, gave me a mix of the two fry types they had that day when I couldn't decide (standard fries and jojo's). I am observing dry January so he brought over an NA beer for me to try after he noticed I ordered a hop water. Fwiw they don't appear to any longer have the 10% inflation charge I saw mentioned in a few reviews.

Best sounding Karaoke in town!! Food is on point too!!Came on a Friday for a friends birthday and the karaoke was amazing!! Concert quality!!

Went there on a Saturday night. Bartender was awesome. Karaoke guy was a complete tool.
