Wonderful family owned and operated store has a little bit of everything! Local, imported and national liquors! And they can deliver for your party so you don't have to run around getting your liquor and mixers!

There is something about this place that just draws you to come back. I have had the greatest customer service here which is hard to come by somewhere else. Coming from Germany, this is definitely the place to go to find European Beverages.

Yulia (sorry if I misspelled) is fabulous. We spoke about the Cactus Juice (tequila) schnapps I had asked BP to order a couple of years ago, and she is a true tequila afficiando. Very knowledge and organized. The store has a fabulous selection for being as small as it now is, and easy to manuever through. Love this local store so much. Can't wait to see if the Cenzon tequila (Patron without the pricetag) is able to be ordered. Ask them for anything you don't see. They will special order for you and make sure you're happy. Customer service done RIGHT.

My wife and I dropped in to find a birthday present for a friend and were greeted by a very nice person. We told her what we were looking for and our price range and she made several recommendations and even offered to gift wrap. I didn't think the prices were out of line as other reviewers have stated, I have a feeling there might have been a management change since the two other reviews were submitted. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful oh, we can't wait to go back and give them more of our business.

This place is great - I've been coming to Back Porch Wine & Spirits for ten years and I've always loved their large selection and fair pricing. I rarely go elsewhere unless it's out of convenience. More recently, though, they went under new management and changed up their layout by half-sizing their store. I was worried it meant their selection downsized, but NOPE...it's packed full of the same goodness. The last couple times my boyfriend and I have been in, we were greeted by Tatiana (spelling?), who is amazing! She's very knowledgeable and introduced us to liquor I wouldn't normally have gravitated to, or didn't know existed. She let us taste a few things, and we ended up leaving with a bottle I wasn't on the lookout for! It's become more of an experience, and I will definitely continue to come back for it.

I will agree that the pricing (tax included or not) is still a little steep compared to your typical stores that now have the ability to carry things on a greater scale. This is the norm though with any specialty wine and spirits shop though. I sometimes like to go to these places and more so be a part of the culture. I like the extra variety and the different things you get to experience. My last visit I got the chance to meet Andrew, whom I think is the owner. And he was a truly pleasant individual who got a little geeked about his growing wine collection for the spring season and wanted to share a taster of this new vodka that was aged very nicely and had been getting raved about. Little things like that make the experience notable so it's not just going out to pick up a bottle of booze.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great bourbon selection. It might be a small bonus but the fact that the liquor is out and not behind some case that requires a manager to unlock is also nice.

My experience was when I was languishing in The Wine Desert that is Everett and seeking an Italian wine named Barolo, from Piemonte. This little shop said they had Barolo in stock. Great! I needed this as a special gift for my boss and I was pleased to have found itUntil...I arrived at Back Roach Wine with No Spirit!I drove out there and was "greeted" by a cold woman with a heavy Eastern Europen accent. As she guided me to the Barolo, her attitude was anything but welcoming snd friendly. It was as if she were doing me a favor.The shop had a couple bottles of the wine, only from one of the many Barrolo vintners. The price was through the roof!!!After the unfriendly woman pointed to their vast Barolo selection, she left without a word. She showed no interest in me as a customer, no interest in the wine, shared no knowledge regarding Barolo, and she was just going through the motions of attempting to do a good job. Wow! So bad, it was almost shocking.She should be sacked...but, she's probably the owner. HA!Her rough-around-the-edges insincerity was amazing.Since it was "the only game in town", I bought the Barolo.Never again will I visit this failed attempt at a friendly neighborhood wine shop.Arrivaderci!

I award this place zero stars because of their bogus prices. Whoever was put in charge of the pricing here belongs at the comedy club. Basically this liquor store is where great bottles go to collect dust.

Good selection, open late! Very helpful with good suggestions for any price range, lots of parking available
