Interesting place. Because of where it's located, it is not something you'd pass by and wander in. I took my partner here for Jazz Sunday. There was a sax man setting the mood as you walk up in the front room. You order at the window and get a number to bring to your table. The food menu is limited, but has good stuff on it. I wanted a sandwich so I ended up getting the chopped Italian sandwich, which was better than expected. The bread really won me over. I could order just that bread to take home and make my own sandwiches. Partner went with the American and bagel. I topped my meal off with the Italian soda and it hit the spot. I'll certainly go back.

First time here...The place is decorated really nice...very trendy and Instagramable. With regard to ordering, It was a little confusing as to how, because when I got to the window, there was no one there, but the computer to order on was turned around, facing towards me and I thought it was like at portal Coffee, where you punch in your own order. I started touching the screen and searching for what I wanted, when one of the workers showed up and informed me that she puts in the orders...lol, whoops! After I paid, I asked if I get a number...she looked at me and asked if the order was for here, and if I wanted my order on a plate!? I said yes and she looked at me in a way that didn't make me feel welcome.I sat down in the dining area and made myself comfortable. It did take some time to get my order. I ended up checking on it. I went up to the window, smiled and said, "just checking on my order" and the same lady who took my order said, "We have lots of orders"...you're next.Uh...ok, I'm sure you have lots of orders, that's fine. I'm just checking on mine. Things happen and get lost in the shuffle...it happens...we're human...just wanted to make sure that I'm in the queue. At that point I started to regret driving 30 minutes out of my way to try this place. I sat back down and contemplated canceling my order.Luckily, a different lady who gave me my drink (told me that her sister works at UCSD), was very nice and made me feel at ease again.I enjoyed my Pistachio croissant in the dining area. It was delicious and so was my honey matcha latte. I crocheted a little, took a couple of photos for Instagram and went on my way. If I'm in the area I may come back and see if I have a better experience.

Was looking for a quick bite on a Saturday afternoon when we discovered this place. It's in what appears to be the lobby of an apartment building. They have plenty of seating where you can chill and hang out without being rushed out but you can also do take-out. Food 5/5Ordered smores croissant and avocado toast. The croissant had marshmallows and melted chocolate and was very yummy. The avocado toast has tomatoes, egg, greens, balsamic and a layer of mayo I believe. Although the sour dough bread was soft and we had to use utensils to eat the avocado toast, it was delicious! All the ingredients balanced each other really well. Drinks 3.5/5Ordered iced tiramisu latte and a honey matcha latte. I am beyond picky with coffee but actually loved the tiramisu latte. It had just the right amount of sweetener and reminded me of coffee bean & tea leaf lattes in a good way. The matcha latte though wasn't good especially if you're looking for authentic matcha. The color was light and it was too sweet for my liking but not sweet enough for my partner lol Ambiance 3/5You have to go up a ramp and all the way up and in the back to find the coffee shop. The location has lots of potential but I didn't love the decoration. It was just too chaotic with the faux flowers hanging and scenic wallpapers. There's indoor and outdoor seating. They have free parking for one hour and also have one bathroom that leads to the apartment's building's garage. All around an interesting location. Not an ideal location for a girl's cute Sunday brunch. Price 4/5We paid $35 with tip for two lattes, one croissant, and one avocado toast. Not cheap but we enjoyed our food and drinks for the most part. Service 5/5Everyone was really kind and attentive. Overall I would return if i'm in the area and looking for a quick bite.

This place is truly a hidden gem! It's soooo good! We got the Strawberry Cheesecake and Pistachio Croissant and our mouths were watering. The flavor was so good. The salted caramel latte was so good and the tiramisu latte was to die for. Both flavors had a rich coffee flavor, probably stemming from the italian beans the shop uses. It's also a great study space or place to catch up with your friends. We loved the hanging flowers where you can write your own dreams, goal, or manifestations on and keep it there in order to get good vibes. Overall cute coffee shop. 10/10 will be coming here more often!

I was in the Mission Valley area and stopped by for lunch and had the chicken salad, iced Americano and baci balls with nutella. The salad was light, fresh and very good. My coffee wasn't bitter. The baci balls were less than stellar. I was expecting soft donut holes, but they were so dry. Every time I took a bite, I had to have a sip of my coffee. The cafe is located behind office buildings and not in the retail area of Mission Valley. Nevertheless, there was a good amount of people on a Saturday. The place is calming and relaxing. Service was friendly and quick. They have good menu and I'd stop by again for a quick bite and to avoid the crowded areas of Mission Valley.

My children and I frequented Baci Coffee because we saw it on Instagram and it didn't disappoint! We ordered several items all of which were so tasty. The place was very clean and decorated nicely. Staff were so nice and served us with top notch service. We felt like VIPs.

Baci Coffee had one of the most challenging locations I have encountered for a coffee house. If you are not paying close attention to the sidewalk signage along Camino Del Rio South, then it's easy to bypass the long driveway you must enter to reach this business. There were dedicated one-hour parking spaces right in front of the ground level suite which was a bonus. The inside was nicely decorated with the dining area resembling a rustic living room. The service counter was along the back with photo frames of the menu hanging on the left wall. One frame listed the drinks... coffee, tea, Italian soda, and other beverages. The other frames consisted of the Breakfast & Brunch offerings, salads, build your own sandwiches, pastries, and desserts. For the sandwiches, you could choose the style of bread which ranged from croissant, bagel, sourdough, brioche, toast, or roll.I picked an Italian Croissant Sandwich with smoked salmon as a savory item and then the Italian Donuts from the pastries section. Arugula, balsamic, and mozzarella were added to the salmon in between the two halves of the croissant. The serving size was ordinary for this most expensive product of the Breakfast & Brunch choices. The Italian Donuts came as five pieces that resembled donut holes. I initially called them zeppole which was the Italian term for this pastry. The worker who was staffing the register had no idea what I was talking about so I stopped using the word. They were fried donut balls made out of cream puff dough without any filling. Six dollars for this order was not a great deal. I didn't try any of the drinks during my visit, however the food I sampled was at a three star level.

Saw this new Italian cafe on Instagram and HAD to give it a try since I was in Rome last month. It's in the Mission Valley area on Camino del Rio South tucked away from the street in what appears to be an apartment complex. There are signs pointing the way, so follow them -- I'd have thought my GPS was making things up otherwise. They have a number of reserved spots with a 1 hour limit, so it doesn't seem to be a place that encourages working for longer periods of time. It's an incredibly vibey spot that's very instagrammable and the staff was kind. I went around 7:30am on a Thursday morning and was the only person there, but the location is very off the beaten path.I got a cappuccino and pistachio croissant on my way to work, which came out to just under $14 before tip. I did like that they put the pastry in a box so it travels better than in a pastry bag.Unfortunately, the croissant was excessively stale and basically inedible. They also had sliced it in half like a sandwich, which is a weird choice considering the cream topping. The pastry tasted days old and I wound up throwing it away after one disappointing bite. I'm not a huge coffee snob, but the cappuccino tasted mostly like milk, so I wonder if it was prepared more like a latte -- even then, there was no coffee taste.Ultimately, this spot has excellent vibes and ambiance, but I wasn't impressed by the food or coffee and am unlikely to return.

Came here because I was craving a blended coffee drink and the photos looked amazing! They also had mini beignets so thought I'd try them out before leaving town this morning.A bit of a weird location, and you need to drive slow or you'll miss your right turn. You're prompted to go up a ramp to get to them, park for 1 hour if you're gonna dive in, max 2 parties can dine in the front, and they have a minimart selection of goodies before ordering inside at their window. Friendly workers, lots of eye catching decor, mocha frappe was a thumbs down, I ended up tossing it. It was good the first sips, but went down hill from there. Their hazelnut beignet was over fried, Nutella filled and dry, and the plain beignet was just ok/ decent. I could've done without either things tbh. Can't knock it til you try it but I wish I went elsewhere or ordered a pistachio drink as waiting for mine 3 random folks ordered it, so maybe I missed the memo?
